Simply didn't touch it it looks like. Seems to have found her groove over the last 2 games so going to back her in - hopefully with Bowers out there are more possessions for all?
She was trying to tag Riddell (trying) last game which had her around the ball and able to have plenty of tackles, hopefully her role stays the same. Carlton this week however not sure who you need to tag, hopefully (not likely) runs around with Hill and they both rack up points!

Well Bowers is not a target now next week.
FIXTURE UPDATE: Catch-up matches locked in for monster R7, R8

THE AFL will use rounds seven and eight as an opportunity to catch up on matches postponed by COVID-19 outbreaks at clubs.
There will be 16 matches across the two rounds with Gold Coast, Brisbane, GWS, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs to play three matches across the two weeks.

As it stands, Fremantle has played six matches, one more than the standard five, while the above teams have played four games.

ROUND SEVEN ALTERATIONS:
  • QClash between Gold Coast and Brisbane will be played at Metricon Stadium on Thursday night, having been called off due to COVID-19 in round three
  • Brisbane v Melbourne has moved from Sunday to Monday, to give the Lions a longer break after their Thursday night match
  • Western Bulldogs will play two games in the round: one against Geelong at VU Whitten Oval on Friday night, and another against Gold Coast on Tuesday at Metricon Stadium
  • North Melbourne v Collingwood has moved from Friday to be the sole match on Sunday

ROUND EIGHT ALTERATIONS:
  • GWS and St Kilda will open the round on Wednesday night before playing a second match on Sunday.
  • There will be no Friday night match with four games scheduled on Sunday.
  • The blockbuster Fremantle v Adelaide clash has been moved from Sunday to Saturday
  • GWS v Carlton has moved from Friday night to Sunday night, and will still be played at Manuka Oval in Canberra
  • Gold Coast v St Kilda is now a Saints home match with the venue still to be determined
  • West Coast v Brisbane has moved from Saturday to Sunday at 2:10pm AWST
  • Collingwood v Western Bulldogs has been pushed back two hours, now beginning at 3:10pm AEDT
"We are pleased to be able to update the AFLW community with the revised fixture for rounds seven and eight of the 2022 NAB AFL Women’s Competition," AFL general manager competition management Laura Kane said.
"While the ongoing pandemic continues to impact and challenge our competition and our wider community, we want to thank every AFLW Club, players and the AFLPA, umpires, venues, governments, ticketing agents and all supporters for their understanding and commitment to the season.
"We look forward to a festival of football from round seven with nine games across seven days while round eight, the NAB AFLW Indigenous Round, is a truly significant round that provides further opportunity for the competition to continue to celebrate and learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players and staff in our game.
"The health and safety of the community remains the highest priority for the AFL and we will continue to work closely with respective state governments and health authorities on arrangements that both protects that and allows us to progress the NAB AFLW season."

So Fremantle players get their average for Round 7...?
oh so Freo don’t play in R7 and her average won’t apply, is that correct?
There is no fixture in that game week for Fremantle. I think their Geelong game is probably now pushed back to game week 9 or 10.
Fremantle vs Bulldogs was originally the week 10 game but has been played.

I think Bulldogs players have been given their two averages already for the games in GW7.
I think both those games were the postponements.
WBD postponed games...
R2 v Brisbane
R3 v GCS
So I believe that their R7 game against Geelong will count.

Also, the GWS v St Kilda game for R8 is the postponed game from R5.

Ok thanks for that (y)
I was scrambling trying to find games.

Looking at the fixture the GCS and WBD game was originally there. You are right (y)

This Q-Clash was originally scheduled for R3 (with Bulldogs to play Carlton).

Then both Bulldogs & GCS were hit by Covid & injuries so couldn't field a team so they switched things around to have Brisbane play Carlton instead for the round with both GCS & Bulldogs on the bye.

GREATER Western Sydney will be boosted by the return of five experienced players for its clash with Melbourne.

The Giants were hit by a COVID-19 outbreak, sitting out last week, and four of the five – midfielders Chloe Dalton and Katie Loynes, key forward Bec Privitelli and key defender Pepa Randall – had missed the previous round due to AFL health and safety protocols.
Haneen Zreika also returns after opting to sit out round four due to personal reasons.

NAB AFLW Rising Star winner Tyla Hanks returns for Melbourne after health and safety protocols, replacing Casey Sherriff (concussion).

Carlton is in a similar position, welcoming back All-Australian ruck Breann Moody from protocols.
Forward Courtney Jones – the team's leading goalkicker in 2022 – will miss through protocols. Earlier this week, Brooke Vickers (ankle) had been given the all-clear to hold her spot in the side, but ultimately won't make the trip west to face Fremantle.

The Dockers have just made one change, dropping Ann McMahon in place of Jasmin Stewart, with Matilda Sergeant to miss a second game with concussion.
Akec Makur Chuot will play her first game for the season for Richmond, with Meagan Kiely recalled after being managed last week.
They will replace Laura McClelland (syndesmosis) and Hannah Burchell (ACL), with former VFLW Roo Kiely to face her former club.

North Melbourne is unchanged, with Kaitlyn Ashmore sidelined for a second week with a hamstring issue. Tess Craven and Georgia Campbell are emergencies.

Makes things easier! Miller then for 92
Low only on 36 avg atm, hopefully bumps that up a little this round
For your reference...
Based from my records and what is shown on the AFLW Fantasy site, the games that were classed as 'additional games' for the preceding rounds have not had their scores included as part of the player's averages despite the instruction from AFLW Fantasy that 'the scores will not count towards the round but will count towards their season average'.

As an example...
Ellie Blackburn| 93, 66, 58 & 88 where 58 was the 'additional' game played as part of R4.
Season average (including the additional R4 game) should be 76, however, AFLW Fantasy is showing 82.

Something to be mindful of in your considerations, some players will have a positive bias and others will be negative depending on their score for those 'additional' games. Obviously, this statement will be redundant if and when AFLW Fantasy correct this.
