Not going great overall so will go all in for the weekly.

Swanson, Webster, Hampson (58), Danckert (30), donut (donut) (Rowbottom (66))
Hatchard, Garner (c), Hill, A McDonald, Prepakis (A Smith)
Downie (Fuller)
Hanks, O'Sullivan (80), Bohanna (55), M Morrison (50), T Harris (Low)

6/339 before first bounce. Bit dodgy but gotta play the rules as they're presented.

Hypothetically, but I have the cash to go:

Out: Lister, T. White, Eddey
In: M. Morrison, Miller, Hampson

I'm too far back to win the overall prize imo. But that'd give me a team of:

Def: Swanson, Webster, Schleicher, Birch, Hampson [58] (Ferguson)
Mids: Hatchard, M Hill, Miller [95], Rowbottom [66], East [51] (West)
Ruck: Cutting (Fuller)
Fwds: Hanks, Bodey, O'Sullivan [80], Morrison [50], Bohanna [55] (Low)
Utility: Farharquson

I don't know if it's in the spirit of the game - but on a scale of 1 to 10, is this insane? Starting off at 455/7 for the round is appealing...

Put Low at Utility in case of late outs

I'm thinking;

OUT: Molloy, Harris, Kiely
IN: Hanks, M Morrison, Sherar

I know Sherar is injured but she's the best option that I can afford and she can sit on the bench.

Gives me a team for a shot at the $1000 of;

Swanson, Webster, Schleicher, Lampard, Birch (Ferguson)
Hatchard, Bonnici, Hill, Rowbottom (66), Prespakis (Sherar)
Cutting (Morphett)
Hanks, O'Sullivan (80), Bohanna (55), M Morrison (50), Eddey (Farquharson)
Utility: Low
Not sure you should trade Molloy. She was starting at center bounce and rolling forward on the weekend, which seemed to work for Collingwood, and improved her score. I'm trading Harris > Molloy on the back of roll change. Maybe consider Harris > Hanks if you can manage it.

Will sideways trade around that if the suspension holds.

Fremantle & GCS players for consideration...

Note that Fremantle player's averages from my table doesn't aligned with those on the AFLW Fantasy site as I've taken into account their scores from the additional game played against Western Bulldogs as part of R4 (as per their tweet) whereas the AFLW Fantasy site haven't included this as part of the player's season averages.

Injury wrap: Devastating blow for Dogs, concussed Lion out for TWO games

SCANS have confirmed Western Bulldogs debutant Aurora Smith has torn her right ACL and suffered a medial meniscus injury.

The 18-year-old Murray Bushrangers recruit was selected with pick No.25 in last year's NAB AFLW Draft, and was named on the wing in the NAB AFLW Under-19 All-Australian team.

"The entire AFLW program is absolutely devastated for Aurora, particularly in her debut game," Bulldogs head of women's footy Debbie Lee said.

"Since joining our program, she has done everything she can to ready herself for this moment, and we were really looking forward to seeing what she could do at AFLW level.

"We know she has a long career ahead of her, so as a club we will wrap our arms around Aurora and her family, and provide them with all the support they need."

Smith is the 11th player to have suffered a torn ACL across the pre-season and six rounds of footy.

Collingwood has confirmed skipper Steph Chiocci will return for Sunday's big clash against North Melbourne.

The 33-year-old has missed three matches across this season with Achilles soreness.

Brisbane's condensed fixture has meant star key forward Dakota Davidson will miss two matches through the AFL's concussion protocols.

The minimum timeframe for a player's return from concussion is 12 days, which given Davidson suffered her injury on Sunday, will rule her out of both the QClash against Gold Coast and Monday night's blockbuster against Melbourne.

In better news for the Lions, integral defender Shannon Campbell will be available for selection after missing last round with concussion, while top draftee Maggie Harmer will resume full training, having been sidelined this season with a foot injury.

Melbourne is aiming to unveil big recruit Liv Purcell against Brisbane, with the 2020 All-Australian having fully recovered from a torn ACL.

"Olivia Purcell got through another VFLW game, playing full minutes, competed really well and has pulled up well, so she'll be putting her hand up, and all going well, she'll make her debut for the club next Monday night," coach Mick Stinear said.

Casey Sherriff will require a second week on the sidelines due to concussion, while midfielder Maddi Gay is two weeks away with a quad injury.

Lively Gold Coast forward Kalinda Howarth will be required to pass a test in order to play this week, having missed the win over Geelong with a minor shoulder injury.

Geelong key forward Liv Barber is building nicely after tearing her PCL last year, kicking three goals in the VFLW.

Sarah Black

BRISBANE will regain tough defender Shannon Campbell and sparky forward Zimmie Farquharson for Thursday night's QClash.
Campbell has recovered from concussion, with Sharni Webb making way for her inclusion, while Farquharson sat out Sunday's win over St Kilda with illness. She comes into the side in place of Dakota Davidson, who will miss Brisbane's next two matches due to concussion protocols.

Gold Coast has made just the one change, regaining Kalinda Howarth from a minor shoulder injury. First-year Sun Shannon Danckert has been omitted.
