Terrible round of #AFLWFantasy for myself. Scored (1060?) I believe which will see my slide outside the top 10 (maybe top 20?)

+3 O’Sullivan -
-3 Ferres, Birch, Jones, Conti & myself

My trades lost me about 70 points this week. 🤮

147 points ahead of #20 prior to this week won’t disappear this week unless par 20 is 1200, can’t see that happening mate.

I reckon there may be a few coaches up top around your level a few above and a few below, hopefully you remain in touch with top spot with 4 rounds to go

Yeah agreed, the problem is a lot of the top coaches this week would have double downgraded and have good cash available. I played it risky and used all my $ and it hasn’t paid off, which will hurt me in rounds to come.

Given MM dislikes rolling lockouts I really hope that the Thursday night Q-clash gets excluded so that we have a Friday night lockout with 8 of the 13 teams named at that point, Thursday night lockout would most likely lead to carnage.

The AFL/AFLW sites uses Champion Data API for their fixturing schedule.
I find it frustrating and annoying that CD haven't been updating this in a timely manner once the revised fixture is announced and confirmed.
I sure hope that this is not a sign of things to come for the upcoming AFL season.

The only reliable source I can find on this subject is from https://australianfootball.com where you can clearly see the updated R7 AFLW fixture.

Get your act together CD...!

FIXTURE UPDATE: Catch-up matches locked in for monster R7, R8

THE AFL will use rounds seven and eight as an opportunity to catch up on matches postponed by COVID-19 outbreaks at clubs.
There will be 16 matches across the two rounds with Gold Coast, Brisbane, GWS, St Kilda and the Western Bulldogs to play three matches across the two weeks.

As it stands, Fremantle has played six matches, one more than the standard five, while the above teams have played four games.

ROUND SEVEN ALTERATIONS:
  • QClash between Gold Coast and Brisbane will be played at Metricon Stadium on Thursday night, having been called off due to COVID-19 in round three
  • Brisbane v Melbourne has moved from Sunday to Monday, to give the Lions a longer break after their Thursday night match
  • Western Bulldogs will play two games in the round: one against Geelong at VU Whitten Oval on Friday night, and another against Gold Coast on Tuesday at Metricon Stadium
  • North Melbourne v Collingwood has moved from Friday to be the sole match on Sunday

ROUND EIGHT ALTERATIONS:
  • GWS and St Kilda will open the round on Wednesday night before playing a second match on Sunday.
  • There will be no Friday night match with four games scheduled on Sunday.
  • The blockbuster Fremantle v Adelaide clash has been moved from Sunday to Saturday
  • GWS v Carlton has moved from Friday night to Sunday night, and will still be played at Manuka Oval in Canberra
  • Gold Coast v St Kilda is now a Saints home match with the venue still to be determined
  • West Coast v Brisbane has moved from Saturday to Sunday at 2:10pm AWST
  • Collingwood v Western Bulldogs has been pushed back two hours, now beginning at 3:10pm AEDT
"We are pleased to be able to update the AFLW community with the revised fixture for rounds seven and eight of the 2022 NAB AFL Women’s Competition," AFL general manager competition management Laura Kane said.
"While the ongoing pandemic continues to impact and challenge our competition and our wider community, we want to thank every AFLW Club, players and the AFLPA, umpires, venues, governments, ticketing agents and all supporters for their understanding and commitment to the season.
"We look forward to a festival of football from round seven with nine games across seven days while round eight, the NAB AFLW Indigenous Round, is a truly significant round that provides further opportunity for the competition to continue to celebrate and learn from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander players and staff in our game.
"The health and safety of the community remains the highest priority for the AFL and we will continue to work closely with respective state governments and health authorities on arrangements that both protects that and allows us to progress the NAB AFLW season."

After re-reading this and based on my record of the fixturing adjustments to date, this would be my take on the upcoming 2 rounds.

Round 7
Thursday, Feb 17
Gold Coast v Brisbane at Metricon Stadium, 6.40pm AEST
Tuesday, Feb 22
Gold Coast v Western Bulldogs at Metricon Stadium, 6.10pm AEST

These are the only genuine 'make up' games and therefore WILL NOT count towards scores for the round as the former was originally scheduled for R3 and the latter was rescheduled for R3 after the revision, and subsequently postponed due to Covid impacting on both clubs.
Verdict: Fremantle (bye) and GCS players to get averages applied where applicable. Brisbane and Western Bulldogs player's scores against Melbourne and Geelong respectively will count as part of R7. FRIDAY LOCKOUT

Round8
Wednesday, Feb 23

GWS v St Kilda at Blacktown Sports Complex, 5.40pm AEDT
This is the make up game from R5 so much simpler to manage.
Verdict: Only player's scores from the above game WILL NOT count towards R8, all other games will be as per normal round fixture as it involves all 14 teams. SATURDAY LOCKOUT

Not sure if MM agrees with my summation...

I'm thinking;

OUT: Molloy, Harris, Kiely
IN: Hanks, M Morrison, Sherar

I know Sherar is injured but she's the best option that I can afford and she can sit on the bench.

Gives me a team for a shot at the $1000 of;

Swanson, Webster, Schleicher, Lampard, Birch (Ferguson)
Hatchard, Bonnici, Hill, Rowbottom (66), Prespakis (Sherar)
Cutting (Morphett)
Hanks, O'Sullivan (80), Bohanna (55), M Morrison (50), Eddey (Farquharson)
Utility: Low
