Neither McDonagh or Parker picked in the 28 man squads for todays Bombers-Bulldogs practice match.

Playing rookies from each side include:

Bombers: Bryan (166.6k), Hobbs (153.3k), Baldwin (123.9k)
Bulldogs: Jones (117.3k), McComb (102.4k)

Robbie McComb 102k mid looks interesting
Mature age rookie 26 years old, played for dogs VFL side
Not sure how he goes about breaking into that midfield but promising he is named for practice match

These mature aged rookies look like they are just picked as a backup. Looks like it's not the rookie bonanza I was thinking.

Tex Wanganeen kicked 3 goals in the practice match against the Dogs and looked great

Could be a replacement for Tippa if he doesn’t play

Seems like Kaine Baldwin also had a good game for Essendon although only played the last Q and kicked a goal. Played 1Q in the 2's game and kicked another.

Boyd not getting too much of it for Carlton at the moment and burning it a bit when he does. Kemp also a bit quiet playing forward but looks capable

Yep. I remember watching that "kid" Gavin Wanganeen running around with the "Baby Bombers" in the early 90s

Boyd picked up in the 2nd half IMV. He's back to being a 'watch' next week. I've got Kemp pencilled in now behind Minge, Sinn, O'Driscoll and Dean. No opinion yet on Chesser.
