I understand sacrifices but fading Dunkley - man that's balls of Steele!
lol, he's one of my favourites, but having owned him the last couple of years he's been a bit of a sh1t show, with Bevo playing him in the ruck or leaving forward, I think he's a pure mid only and should stay there, unfortunately ain't going to happen. Might get sucked in after some actual pre season games.

Macrae/Petracca moved to Oliver/Touk with a lot of other changes as well.

I still wish there was a world I could start Macrae, Oliver, Touk and Steele but only way I could see it is to go only one premium ruck and there's nothing else out there right now!
Those 4+Neale + 2 premium rucks is easily achievable with 12 elite keepers instead of stretching to 13.

First roll of the dice for 2022 just off pre-season and the first round of practice matches - feels like there's a fair bit of value to be had if you can get your sub-premos and fades right and I'm currently struggling to spend up to the cap:

Berry is a far better pick then Brodie. Move Dunkley forward.

I WILL NOT be starting this team, but is a feel good mid and ruck line, with a compromised forward and backline.

Odds that team does better than whatever you go with instead?

Legit, that's a really solid team
Change 4 starters and the bench mix .....

- I know that structure very well ;)
@Eagling - would love to know the rookies and mid pricers you have to get to 12 players include the big 5.

Looking at Juzzo team, players like Skinner, SDK, Kelly just look unlikely to play or score enough points. Cooper injured, hopefully replaced by Goater or someone. Not sure Soligo gets a game. Sicily, Hewett, TT could also be sub premium is a genuine risk.

Challenge seems to be you drop a midfielder from Juzzo team (appreciate not going with it), however, you are probably pick a 200k player. allows you to upgrade Kelly. Then need another 80k to upgrade Skinner and personally I would spend to upgrade SDK as well.

I could go with one of TT/Hewett and Sicily, unlikely all three despite some cash to be made.

Thanks, Saw the footage on Chesser, didn’t look great, but, still think it wasn't too bad. Hopefully he can get up in a depleted line-up. Erasmus we may see after a few rounds, just a placeholder for now. Hollands played VFL/NEAFL so again a wait and see whether he can get a game firstly, so many unknowns. I'm not sold on MacDonald or Stephens yet either. 🙄
Chesser gone for half the season.

I like it and have nothing bad to say about it, in fact I like it a lot.

I personally am nervous fading Lloyd, I think both Short and Ridley both will be top 8 defenders, but I do feel that Lloyd and Dawson might both be next level.

Weller worries me a little though, he just feels like that pre-season stud that turns to an early season dud.

Something like this is quite tempting as a 5 mid, 12 premium option. I probably would prefer Butters/Heeney/TT as another forward over spreading the cash over Coleman+Curnow+extra, and it might be feasible with a lot of $102k rookies, but for now I don't mind this.
