7/586 - Hatchard (c)

Was all setup to grab Bowers this round. With her absence, I was thinking just grab Marinoff instead but went the other missing piece of my puzzle in Hanks...:(

Swanson, Schleicher, CSvarc, Orla, Hill, Rowbottom, CMoody, Lynch & Lewis today. Their combined averages amount to 591 so that's what they will be judged on. :D

Didn't quite make the average projection thanks to Orla injury and Lynch combining for 33!

Unfortunately I've had to pull the pin on my intended weekly review for the remainder of the season as a few unexpected things have come up which will require my attention over the next few weeks.
Hopefully you've enjoyed reading these as further dimension to help your enjoyment of playing AFLW Fantasy.

Ellyse Gamble, Western Bulldogs, has been charged with Forceful Front-On Contact against Aliesha Newman, Collingwood, during the second quarter of the Round Eight match between Collingwood and the Western Bulldogs, played at Victoria Park on Sunday February 27, 2022.

In summary, the player can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.

Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Careless Conduct, High Impact, High Contact. The incident was classified as a two-match sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a two-match sanction with an early plea.

The AFL have overly complicated the fixture this year.

Whether you refer to catch-up games as part of rounds or not the Freo vs WB and GCS vs. Brisbane games played earlier are outside a standard round but the 7 games to complete the season next week are part of a standard round.

Referring to the Freo vs WB game as a round 10 game is ridiculous, that is the “extra” game as is the GCS vs Brisbane game. Both of these are “round 11” in a sense. These are required because WB and Brisbane had a rd2 bye and because Freo and GCS had a rd7 bye.

Apart from rounds 2,7 and 11 all other rounds had 7 games even though some were played as catch-up matches.

In summary I really hope that I am misunderstanding the final week of AFLW Fantasy and we will get a full round, without averages.

Anything else seems in-necessary when we already got averages for players who didn’t play rounds 2 and 7 and where games were caught up after a round has been completed.

How does everyone else interpret MM’s advice above?

Unfortunately it does look like averages. That is my view on it aswell.

Hopefully we are wrong though. ;)
It would be good to have all live scores counted.
