I would have thought gov is keeping plowman out and weitering replaces McDonald. Weitering is clearly a better defender too so I guess gov is the less accountable of the 2 if they okay together. It doesn't put me off him as a pick anyway.

I have no idea how their defence lines up to be honest @Professor will know

Feels like McGovern has the right role now - and he actually looks hungry, which is something you couldn't always say about him. Intercepting is one thing but that HTB he won in the middle says a lot more to me.

I agree Cripps is doing some great things tonight but to me he feels like more of a round 3 upgrade target. 1 game doesn’t make a premium no matter how good it is.. but if he can do this against Richmond and the Doggies.. that’s a different story.
Feels like it’s easier to get him in as a correction trade than it is to get him out at his price if he doesn’t work out.

Picking him now and if things do go pair shape there are heaps of options. trade him to a serong, Rowell or lipinski. Harder to find the cash to trade up

Not sure bailing out of a failed pick by trading into an equally risky pick is the way to go.
