Also my best start, managed spot on 2000 for a top 1000 ranking and that was with Duggan and Gaff spudding it up!

Danger letting me get my trade fix this week as well! I wish I had any idea how they work out price rises and drops but like everything in this comp it seems like they just throw the names into a random generator and go with it.

Looking forward to the first batch of the "DT Talk boys have this player so lets change his position" randomness as well.

I thought i was going to miss out on doing my trade as I couldn't figure it out.

Probably the reason I missed my Danger trade in sc by a couple of seconds...

Injuries/Suspensions galore so far
Round 1: Danger/Rowell/Harmes
Round 2: Caldwell

There's the first 4 trades...

So much for rookie correctional trades

Slowly drifting towards top 1K (1252nd) after dodging the Daniel, Ridley and De Goey disasters the past few weeks.

I knew the Flynn to Hickey upgrade was a stop gap measure at best but still hoped that stop gap would last longer than a single week.

So enough fluffing around I‘ll now be going all the way up to Grundy with Phillips likely becoming the sacrificial lamb to obtain the necessary funds.

Hopefully the Grundy selection can hold together for a few weeks as it would be nice to get a resilient and reliable R2 ... for a little while at least.

It's always hard to find a solution that is fair and equitable to all in these sorts of situations. Some want more trades, some don't want more trades, some would prefer best 16, some would rather they cut and paste the Eagles and Tiges scores from Rd13 into Rd14. At least we get 7 trades to plan a Rd14 side from here.

So both Short and RCD probably go for me this week. Hopefully we get some cheap fresh meat announced from a Rd12 bye side. Currently 193rd so trying to continue about 8 straight weeks of slowly improving my rank.🤞

Didn't AFL Fantasy used to award average score to players on the bye so long as they played the week before? That seemed as good a way as any to get through the byes. I would have thought it was also a better last minute back up sytem when fixtures get changed.

No that was only their infinitely better solution to the sudden bye (Bombers/Demons) last year, they've had best 18 as long as I can remember, although for some reason I feel like it was best 22 their first season.

Also, loving my Darcy and Fyfe combo in the forwards here
