This is my team until we get more info on rookies - done my best to pick ones that may play or are at least 123k.

I feel like I have gone a bit pre-season mad in search of value as the higher priced rookies make GnR approach quite hard to achieve. The two main players I'm not confident about are Cripps and Xerri, removing them gets me to an English or Dusty + a expensive rookie. But I can not find a rookie i'm confident will be playing round 1 - let alone round 4.

As for other major omissions/borderline choices/random thoughts:

- I dropped Lloyd as I believe the gap between him and the other defenders will be smaller this year and I needed the $.
- Steele could be Oliver or Touk , just set as the most expensive at the moment although the extra money wouldn't help anything currently.
- Heeney is shaping up to be an upgrade target if playing a deeper forward role while Papley is out.
- Hewett is picked over Sicily as I believe they will average in the same ballpark and the 50k is very helpful.
- Xerri is really only picked as I need <210k forward with current structure.
-Hinge/Durdin can be any other rookie priced players if they don't get up for round 1
-Rowell is an uneasy selection but at 38% picked I don't want to miss the boat on what i'm thinking is 60/40 a good pick.

Would appreciate any feedback or thoughts on the team 1646979856884.png

Not a team thing, but just dawned on me that Darling presumably slots back in. Does that eliminate Dixon from contention or could he still play with Allen still out a while? Had just kind of assumed he was pretty solid.

Darling being back really limits Dixons value as a SC pick. I imagine he will be out of the team when darling is fit, and if not then he will be in round 5 when Allen is.

Almost settled on my squad, (depending how teams drop.)
Everyone deserves their spot and I've gone pretty heavy on the bench's.

RIDLEY - Reads the play so well and hopefully has a free role, got off to a flyer last season.
SHORT - No Houli is a positive for him.
WHITFIELD - (D/M) - Value.
HEWITT - (D/M) - Risky, has a handy role at the moment, not sure of it when Walsh returns.
HINGE - Fragile, fingers crossed he can go injury free for 6 or 7 weeks and gain some coin. Has a positive role.
McCARTIN - (D/F) - Looked good in their practise games.

DE KONING - (D/F) - Should get games.
UWLAND - (D/M) - Flonut. Captain loop.

MACRAE - The general, racks up the stats.
OLIVER - Couldn't afford him last year, don't want to miss out on him this year. Although toss of the coin between him and Touk.
NEALE - Back to his best form. (fomo)
CRIPPS - Risky, just can't ignore his practise games.
ROWELL - Looking good with a full preseason completed.
BERRY - Another risk but again looking for 6 or 7 good games.
DAICOS - Must have.
WARD - Must have.

RACHELE - (M/F) - Should get games and a forward link.
STEPHENS - Expecting a big year from this guy.
SINN - (M/D) - Should play early but like the defender link.

MAX - Never doubt the beard.
WITTS - Had Grundy but was impressed with Witts practise game. Also frees up some handy cash.
HAYES - (R/F) DPP in place just in case.

DUNKLEY - (F/M) - Must have forward.
HEENEY - Looking forward to Buddy and Papley to playing so Heeney claims that promised mid role.
BUTTERS - Worth a punt with increased mid time.
CONIGLIO - (F/M) - Must have for value.
McGOVERN - Impressed with his new role.
BRODIE - (F/M) - A toss of the coin between him and Xerri, not sure how this one will play out.

DURDIN - Should create coin and moo.
MARTIN - Will play early and was impressed with the way he went about it against the Saints last week.

12 / 8 / 2 on field. Such a strange set up for me. Who would of thought !!!!!!!!

Looks good mate.

Any worries about all of Ridley, Short, Whitfield and Hewett sharing the same bye?

Also, no JHF?
