I can't justify playing Hinge or Gibcus when I have so many other expensive rookies in my team.
I think Gibcus has decent js but he is a tad expensive for me.
I'd rather field McCartin and have DeKoning and Arthur Jones or equivalent on the bench.
Fair enough, but just remember its easier to fix a high priced rookie with a low priced rookie than it is a low priced rookie to a high priced rookie if they need 'correcting' at any point in time.

Some very knowledgeable Richmond supporters on here.

Is their defensive 7 (when all available) likely to be :-

Broad , Gibcus , Grimes , Rioli (Ralphsmith) , Short , Tarrant , Vlastuin

Balta forward 🤔

So if Balta swings back does Gibcus then miss out ?

Baker stays forward I guess.
Going into the year I would have said;

Grimes - Tarrant - Broad
Vlastuin - Balta - Short

Bench - Rioli
EMG - Mansell

Balta shifting FWD opened a spot for Gibcus, his JS looks rock solid as they look like they are persisting with that.
Miller the only other real option, was given a token game R23 last year. He could maybe come in for Vlastuin, would make more sense than going with Ralphsmith imo.
Bigoa still a ways off yet.

I was a firm no for Balta fwd, but it looks like I may have been wrong.

I currently have Gibcus and McCartin, both reluctantly, paddy could possibly be one good hip and shoulder away from permanent retirement!

If he snaps in half I'll take the legs as he can kick well apparantly.
His selection is a big middle finger to Jammarra-Ugle -Hagan
Not sure I follow.
How is picking a 179cm guy a big middle finger for not picking a 197cm guy?
You would think they'd never be considered for the same role, so their respective selection/non-selection would seem to be independent of each other.
I'm happy to be informed otherwise.

Jamarra was rated around the number 1 draft pick and hasn't come close to a game .
Arthur Jones was pick 41 and had no lead up matches.
Richmond are playing Gibcus who is 195cm in his first year.
The Bulldogs are not happy with Jamarra for something or else they would have given him one game at least last year imo.
Have you got a team reveal from yourself in recent times Rowsus? I value your judgement!
JUH played 5 games last season
