One thing to keep in mind is to make sure these rookies getting named are actually in the 22... Remembering back to last years opening round when Connor Downie was named to debut but ended up being the sub
Yeah 100%. And if I recall correctly, last year the supercoach website displayed that green tick for the player even if he was picked as a sub. That was so misleading.

Isn't Bews a small/medium lockdown defender ?

Defender structure might depend if Stewart plays and where they use Blicavs.
The thing is, Blicavs is so flexible that he could play wing R1 and key defender R2 when Bews returns. Tuohy can play half-back or wing too.

Have they got a ruck yet ?

Blicavs , Henry , Kolo , SDK , Stewart all down back 🤔

Smith will be running up and down.

No Duncan or Menegola either just confuses things

That's what they did all last year but with Henderson instead of SDK. The odds of Geelong restructuring their defense for 1 round around Bews or Duncan/Menegola is highly unlikely. The main questions for SDK were Blicavs, Henry and Kolo. Now that they are all named with SDK, this is as good of a confirmation as we are going to get that its SDKs spot to lose.
