Clark

Yes all good points, but you would have to assume other teams will provide a lot more pressure.
Then there is Jordan Clark, you would think, slots into the DEF line, loves to run the ball. This has me hesitant on the Ryan selection.
Still Undecided between Ryan & Dale. Currently Dale fills D3.
Too much unknown for mine, two meaningless preseason games, Clark, Chapman and Young effectively all slotting into the defense as rebounding types, no certainty if they play 3 or 4 talls.

I really like Ryan and wouldn't be surprised at all if he pushed towards 110 but the reality is that he'll cost basically the same if he does so why not wait on it and find out because there is a genuine downside risk as well.

I really want to start 3 defender rookies just because I don't want to compromise the rest of my picks. Having a hard enough time downgrading one of Lloyd/Crisp to Hewett just to get some better premium rookies (DT but the same battles).

Originally that was my structure but honestly theres hardly one defender rookie I trust on ground let alone three.

Yeah that's where the issue lies. That said, reality suggests not all my midpricers/premiums will pay off and I'll need to move a couple on early and I could fix my backline then. It's what I did last year when I forced 4 rookies on the field and quickly brought in Mills to strengthen it up.

Not ideal but it's tough deciding who to drop otherwise.

I think with trade boosts we can have a lighter midfield than previous seasons, in theory it should be easier to get up to those 650k plus mids.

Was tempted to jump onto Dawson now that he's up and going but really don't have any idea how Adelaide will play him so happy to wait.

Looks like Stewart is playing at this point, can easily swap him to Lloyd if he's a late out though.

Schoenberg is the one to watch this year.

Surround the "shovellers" with outside run and space.

2 handballs to Dawson , Milera , Smith types so they can use the space and their foot skills
Do like Schoenberg developing really nicely. One for the future
