The role as an intercept marker at his price with fwd classification is too hard to ignore, especially seeing how well/comfortable he looked in the preseason games

I dont trust him in the slightest but need to pick a guy at that price range somewhere, may aswell go with a forward thats playing as a defender.

8 free kicks and 8 clearances doesnt feel remotely sustainable either, would have hoped that game would translate to a 150+ really because that's got to be the top end of his ceiling curve, still a very good start from a guy people paid 480k for though.

Thought it was a 140 from viewing, took a few intercept marks as well

Definitely true but without a few of those frees he very well may have had intercept marks and hitouts to advantage as they were free kicks given away on position primarily.

He'll also score significantly better from ruckwork when not facing the best midfield and ruck in the league as his midfield is going to dominate most of the time which makes hitouts a positive source.

To be honest, it sure felt like a 150 game from him, love to see the HOtA stats as have to assume it was terrible because on the eye test he was much better than his score.

Also going to have plenty of intercept marks in that role, assuming he's fit!

Guessing English's HTA were of lower grade (3 points rather than 5?), not sure.

Nothing wrong with the some passion/ emotion directed in the right way.
Way too personal in the way he attacked Morris there, I am no fan of Tom but that was uncalled for.

His anger should be directed at the person inside his footy club leaking the info & breaking his trust, not Morris.
