Unsure if this is the lineup that will be posted on the AFL website, but this is the lineup that was just sent to me

Macdonald now on the bench after originally being named in the forward pocket.
Maginness moves from the bench to the back flank.
Not sure his JS or role is actually that good, Brockman couldnt get near it playing a very similar position.

Team selection will be very tough decision. Both Ward and MacDonald have been in good form and have done pretty much all they can for a spot in R1. I'd be picking both if it was up to me. There will be players who will be stiff to miss out though, especially in the mid field.

Finn is borderline for me, I think he could still play, but will probably need to have a good few practice matches over the next few weeks. I had picked him in my team originally but will probably look elsewhere.

Quick potential rd 1 team for me, and I'm likely forgetting a couple of names here:

Def: Frost, Hartigan, Hardwick, Impey, Scrimshaw, Sicily
Mid/ruck: Mitchell, Newcombe, O'Meara, Reeves, Ward, Worpel
Fwd: Breust, Gunston, Lewis, McEvoy, Moore, Wingard
Int/sub: Bramble, DGB, MacDonald, Morrison, Shiels

In team if fit: Day, Jiath. Not sure who drops out for them.

Unlucky to miss that team above include Brockman, Howe, Koschitzke, Lynch, Maginness, Nash, Phillips. There's almost surely a few in this list here who will make it in to the team instead of those I selected, but it's not easy to pick at this stage!
From this post from over a month ago, looks like I got 18/23 right (assuming Phillips is sub). Most I selected who missed are injured/have Covid, Hartigan the only exception, who I was hoping gets phased out of the team this year if possible anyway. Not a bad effort.

Xavier O'neill named on ball. I know West Coast have a lot of outs but does he get a decent run in the midfield for a while? Would think Hough, Naish etc would be left out before him. Is he a reasonable option instead of Xerri?

I don’t rate O’Neill myself, if Shuey is fit he would the one straight out I think.
