Strangely enough, seeing NOD in your team makes me feel a lot better about having Owens in mine, thankyou :)
Not really sure how to take that... lol. (a bit like your sig. ) He's a FD for me, so at least he'll do his job and not score at all, rather than 2. :D

Still trying to work out whether put Hough back there, but... Captains loop and all...

Hinge, McCartin (Gibcus, SDK)
JHF, Daicos, Ward, (D.Stephens, MacDonald, NO'D)
Dixon
Brodie, Xerri, Rachelle, (Martin, Hayes)

So opinions on my rookie set up guys. Have I got the "Must Haves", have I got any "Probably nots", is NO'D a viable FD who will play at some point, or should I use his spot with someone I've overlooked.

Still dithering between Martin and Baldwin.

Thanks.
Do you have Hayes as emergency in your fwd line?

If so, Change NO’D to Ned Long (fwd/mid) then move Rachele to mid bench & Long to F6, get Hayes score.

Long should get games later on, Martin over Baldwin on scoring potential/ more lucrative role.

Think I'd rather keep NO'D in my back pocket as a good future downgrade option down the track, just hope he doesn't play for a few rounds, and go for a playing round 1 mid rookie for now.

Unfortunatley not... glad I've got him though.

It's great advice otherwise. Thanks.

@Shannon If N. Martin scores 80, I'll use the strategy I reckon. Imagine if he comes out and does a Scott Cummings and kicks 8 in his first game? Lol. I like to dream.

Would have to punt on Neale for Captain and forgo Macraes 133. Probably a pretty good argument for it.

I’ve just tried to switch a number of mine across to a different email address. I think I had over 80 subscriptions to update.
I am too stubborn to sign up to most things but I have a good feeling that these new technological trends won't last long and I will win in the end if I can just hold out a few more decades :ROFLMAO:

Surely soon enough a thumbprint (or similar) will be the key mechanism, then we won’t need to remember any of these details!

Should I flip Xerri out for Dixon now so I can flip Hayes over from R3 to F6/7 over without burning a trade next week?

Looks like DEF line will need some running repairs next week with SDK getting injured so I'm trying to plan ahead a little. :(

Ran some numbers on what the rookies have to score to get the magic $150k mark for both Rd6 & Rd12.
ie a $102k rookie needs to avg 60 to get to $150k profit by Rd6, and avg 48 to get there by Rd12

I'm working on the MN staying constant (which it doesn't) but it should be good enough for a rough guide.

If SDK enters concussion protocol, I can hold for the next couple of weeks . Hopefully no trade needed.

Indeed

Martin played unreal but even better still was his role was so perfect with Langford going down - covered so much ground, saw him get possessions at half back.

He was literally the opposite to Owens last night 😂🤦🏻‍♂️
This is the only thing that makes me feel better about swapping Martin for Dixon with an hour to go - the fact that he got the role because of an injury. You can't predict that.
