I want to see another week of Berry, but I've worked out my only reasonable path to Cripps (must-have now surely) is either trading Berry > Skinner or downgrading a Miller/Gawn type to free up cash. This is assuming I don't pick up an injury/suspension to another 250K+ player.

I'm tempted to just bite the bullet on Berry > Skinner now to avoid a trade boost and just hope I avoid an injury.

Do you think Miller (my M2 behind Macrae) > Cripps or Gawn > Witts would be a better move than Berry > Skinner?

These are my only viable pathways to raise the funds for Cripps.

Sorry, missed the part about trying to get cripps. Miller to Cripps would be a no from me, unless the extra cash let's you do something fantastic. Gawn to Witts a big no from me.
But yeah, Berry out probably the least bad of those options. What else do you have to sacrifice with this option?

Hmm, not sure I'd want to give up any of them, maybe Coniglio. Otherwise, you're giving up 2 trades, giving up a premo and giving up potentially the best cash cow of the year. I know Cripps is in good form, but it's a big sacrifice to get him in.

Same choice here, went with Lipinski as there's not as much doubt about his role in comparison with McDonald who might have benefitted from Ziebell being taken out of the equation doing the lockdown role after Mackay went off. That being said, I'm not a very good SCer

Berry would be at the top of the list for a trade out, good that you get another look at Berry, quite a few traded out Curnow and look what happened there.
