He's going to have that game where he gloves a half dozen of those intercept chances. He's actually faced two of the more difficult sides as well. Dogs are a high quality ball use side and he was by far the best matchup for JUH who played very deep and held McGovern there constantly. Richmond's game plan is mostly about not giving up intercept chances and the chaos ball inside 50.

Dunno, he's one of those whose role looks great and hasn't put the points up and isn't set to lose cash and still has a really solid case to make a lot in the future. If you've got a trade target that makes 150k more than him and you feel good about it or you're getting a keeper in, it makes sense but I struggle to see that target just now, maybe Xerri goes 80% ruck and puts up 120 for those without him or Brodie snaffles the Fyfe absence but Martin pushed back a week removes pretty much the only option that was scream "I can make 150k more than you most likely".

All I'm seeing is Curnow was ready to go last week and now he's looking like a guy people will probably trade in, at that price range, you're a couple of good games from making your cash.

Probably also that element that the DPP is going to have real value, imo.

I'm completely ready to end up regretting this and be completely wrong
I'd probably hold if I was just looking at McGov in isolation, partly because I got it right on Daniher last season (not really a good reason I know). The issue is that I've already got 100k lying around so McGovern and/or Berry are my best routes to getting Cripps. I can be very stubborn about avoiding the seemingly obvious move at times, but even for me continuing to fade Cripps would be pretty out there.

Ok ive got 3 plans of action...

1. Use trade boost to grab Cripps for Berry/Rayner/Sinn(or Ward)

2. Do @wogitalia plan and trade this round( e.g Sinn to Skinner) for a little extra cash next round and then basically do plan 1

3. Is a big sifeways trade but considering ceilings it could be worth it?? Whitfield/Berry >Cripps/MP

Going to engineer a bit of a restructure I think

Ideal trade is something like Gov -> Cripps (hah) but to get there I've got to loose some cash.

Def premo -> def rookie
Gov + Berry (probably) -> Cripps + Heeney

Which could mean I end up making a strange looking move this week like Crisp -> Heeney to set it up.

Cripps and Heeney better be keepers!
Berry, Gov, Ridley/Crisp - Hewett, Heeney, Rookie be a very popular restructure I’d wager.

Don't have Cripps, Hewett or Rowell in my side, and can't see how I can bring them all in without burning a ton of trades and/or culling a super premo mid.

I may have to just go Crisp -> Hewett then Berry to Rowell/Cripps.

I also have McGovern who is concerning, but I might hold him an extra week and grab a Sinn/Martin/Skinner type after Round 3.

Yep, have Hewett already so swap him for Cripps and it looks like a plan.
One keeper and two mid-pricers out for two keepers and rookie in.

Jury is still out on Rowell for me. If he blasts it this week, then yeah, you probably have to agree with 60% of coaches...

Big watch on L McDonald & Berry, might be Berry > McDonald & Ward > Cripps, brought Lipinski in this week otherwise I'd have to do 3 trades next week

I’ve gone early on Berry > Rowell this week as I’m not convinced about Berry’s shoulder, see Rowell continuing his form and want to have as many trades up my sleeve for corrections next week and preferably not use Trade Boosts

After seeing Heeney‘s role early in the first week, which is top three in the forwards for $450K. I left the cash to turn Berry, Xerri, Brodie or Gov into Heeney.

Gov to Heeney, unless Berry’s arm actually falls off his shoulder.

Gov to Heeney.

Ward could turn it around as rookie.
Thanks, leaning that way as I'd end up with Rowell, lipinski and McDonald in the mids leaving only Daicos on field and JHF on the bench, although the temptation of McDonald getting DPP along with Daicos and JHF is making me think.

For me I've seen enough of Gov - yep he could turn it around but we don't have the luxury to look forward into the future so I'll trade him on what I've seen already. I've got no doubt he's got spike games in him but he's shown he doesn't have the consistency even in the lucrative role he has which is key for me coupled with high risk injury history. For me not having Rachele I feel it's a no-brainer.

The adage of don’t get rid of a fit premium seems to have gone out the window. 35 trades no doubt a lot to do with that.
What do you do if Crisp, for instance, pulls out another sub 70 score? I started with Gaff last year and it feels very similar.
