Bruce Isn't back and will miss most of the year though?

But yeah look I thought English was almost the reason they lost last week - Pittonet absolutely smashed him with bulk hitouts-to-advantage, which gave Cripps, Walsh, Hewett & friends first use and set up the win. English is still an average tap ruckman, despite his elite around the ground work.

For this reason, I think bringing in a second ruckman is almost inevitable if they want team success at the Dogs.

Don't see him sharing the ruck with Martin anytime soon (Sweet is ahead of him based on tonight's emergencies). His hitout win % was slightly better than Martin's and Sweet's last year, Sweet just isn't very good and Stef seems to be done.
Sweet was only emergency because Stefan Martin was out with COVID protocols.

Stefan Martin might've actually played this week after last week's ruck disaster if he was available....

Nice take, agree with a lot of this

Agree on Treloar, was good to see him handball and kick short to targets rather than blindly bomb as he usually does.

Agree on Heeney, if that’s his floor, that’s awesome.

Unfortunately, agree on Stephens, I got sucked into “trade boosting” to bring him in, may only last a week in my side if McInerney just replaces him but thankfully on the bench!
Week is a long time, he was great last week. I hope we stick with him but McInerney comes in for someone and have to think Ladhams comes in for Hickey. Only positive is Wicks, Campbell, Cunningham, Ronke, Kennedy, Florent, Rowbottom, McLean, Amartey, Parker and Mills were all terrible also, so not like he was the standout in that area

Wordle 286 2/6*

⬛⬛⬛⬛🟩
🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

:D

Took me 3 guesses today in Worpel (possibly would have recognised by the silhouette but tried without checking that), so I stand by my comment. Lucky guess there, I'll admit.
Took me 3 on my first ever try at it, I totally read the arrows as meaning the opposite to what they do which meant my second guess was effectively to learn that.

So anyone else concerned about the Demons team sheet. IIRC he moved to half back list and this week back to the bench. Old mate JordAn has been promised to starting. Is it his turn for 150? Or will Bowey still be the man. Not keen on trading in a 50 score. Welcome comments.

How the hell did you do that for Wordle? I reckon we had a different words!!! Looking at your first hint, no way you would have got it in two given the double letter in play!

The Thursday night team sheet means nothing. They will rearrange the lineup completely 1 hour before the bounce when final teams are named.

So yeah Bowey could still start on field.

Got a very different score to all of you!

2/190 (Dunkley?)

At least Heeney didn't burn too much tonight. English though...

Currently don't have a viable donut (well, I'm not holding McGovern just to have one, and Owens would require taking Stephens) so I'm holding out for Dixon (or Hayes, I guess) not to be named. Given the WCE team isn't out til Saturday arvo my best C option after that information is available is Neale, so you can bet your bottom dollar Miller goes enormous.

Got another 20 or so hours to stew over the Gawn decision...

Cool righto, does Lever returning next week harm his scoring?
Yeah I would say so - Lever would certainly limit the intercept opportunities he had against GC you would think.

You shouldn't really be picking Bowey as a long-term on-field option though - if he manages to pull out another 90+ this week with Lever, Salem, Hibberd etc. all missing, you should get the fast 150K+ that justifies the trade. He's just a short-term cash cow.
