What date is it today?
This did remind me - I caught the tail end of a news story earlier in the week from Melbourne training. The reporter noted Trac was away from the main group and in the snippet I saw he appeared to have a full length compression bandage on his left leg. Could just be part of recovery and the gastro thing sounds like classic April fools but I wonder whether there is an injury issue.

I am pretty confident I saw Petracca wince after a knock or tackle in his last game, my initial reaction was that he could have injured something, probably lower body. I think I only saw it on replay, and was a little surprised it hadn’t got a mention in the in-game thread. It could be because he’s not that SC popular, or perhaps he played on and it wasn’t a big deal.

Not the best angle. Looked worse in real time IMO, Blakey was coming pretty fast, not too much English could have done, although English does seem to step into it a bit.

Bevo seemed a bit worried in the press conference :ROFLMAO:

Not assessed yet.

Honestly, compare that to the Robbo bump and English is ****ed. Robbo braced and didn't move towards Duursma. English braced and stepped into Blakey.

Of course, English isn't Robbo so probably no case to answer.

Confirming I saw the same Petrock footage with a leg compression bandaid on.

AFL site is reporting BBrown is out with COVID protocols.

Ed Curnow out for 4-6 with a medial. Poor @telephone wont know what to do with himself. https://www.sen.com.au/news/2022/03/23/injured-blues-veteran-to-miss-several-weeks/
As you can imagine, the news hit me quite hard and I've only just started coping in my daily life. Unfortunately this is what happens to the greats, some body's just can't handle the stress required for your standard 50 disposal 5 goal Ed Curnow performance week in week out. He will be back better than ever shortly, please keep him in your prayers. This is a great reminder that we must cherish the legends of the game while we can
