Rachelle or D.Stephens > Martin

Ward to D. Shiel ????? $361 - Rd.1 - 101 against Geelong, didn't play Rd 2 Rd.3 - 100 against Melbourne. stepping stone to prem and rookie off field. Is this stupid.
Not stupid, but depending on who that rookie getting bumped off field is, is it worth it? If it's JFH for example, doesn't seem a huge improvement given the money it costs plus the trade. But if you've got the money there and a dead rookie and you can't buy more points with the cash elsewhere, not a bad option.

It would be Stephens/Ward

Getting Pruess onfield had to be part of the preseason planning. You picked him at R3 for cover and cash gen. You’re going to get both in spades. I think you purchased well.

What your effectively asking is should I burn a trade for onfield points of BP over a D6 (McCartin?). I think GWS players bring their own special JS risks that are defiantly non zero. So probably not. Especially if you can’t loop Hinge with McCartin. If you can then perhaps.
Yeah, that's it, although the Witts > Doc trade probably has a point gain attached too, going off the 3 game average that's around 22 PPG, I'm not sure what the difference in the averages over the whole year would be. Made a blue by not having a plan to get Preuss on field and guess that I have to do something about it.

I dont understand why Preuss not being on field is a problem, hes a cash cow with poor durability and a questionable role in the side week to week, he literally shouldn't be anywhere but R3? Moving Witts out sounds ridiculous to me.

I think people have missed forward Willie Rioli @ $225,000 .
Breakeven -41, averaging 86.5 after 2 games, projected to rise by $52,000.
Think the Round 1 score is a better representation of his future output than what we got in Round 2, hes not going to be kicking 4 on North every week. Reasonable starting pick in the end but not one you should be moving to bring in for mine.

Martin, Xerri, Brodie, Rachele, Dixon/Hayes fwd line is full of scoring rookies. Where do u fit him in tho, not for me at that price

He's got that 117 in his 3 round average for the next two weeks, he'll make $150,000 easily imo.
Dow's average is lower at 76 but he does look like getting midfield time.

I'm happy to bring in Preuss at R2 as I can swing English forward and have Hayes and Dixon as backups.
If it goes pear shaped, I can put English , Hayes or Dixon at R2 so there's no chance of a donut.
Preuss attended 70 something cba's I think I heard.
I have 5 ruckmen if i pick Preuss,so it's a no brainer for mine.

If Hayes is dropped, be all over Preuss as a cash cow, depending how he goes next week.

Be interesting how the slaughtering of fattened (or malnourished) cash cows goes this year with the trade boosts.

Stephens and Rachele already with tempting prices and Preuss on the horizon (and N Martin for those like me who don't have him yet). But both with high ceiling.

Rachele in particular could be one who rewards patience, but then again how much patience can we have when there are 14 or 15 trades available to us between RD6 and RD10?
Think we need the temptation to hit the boost and that doesn't look rosy yet. Had thought Erasmus and O'D would have done more, were hyped up in preseason. Would have been ok for starting picks, yet current score would only see you trade a donut to them.

It's worth noting that Preuss will be up against Freo, Melbourne, and St Kilda in the next 3 weeks. That screams ruck share with Flynn or rotation. The former isn't a huge issue at his price unless you're expecting more 100s, the latter is a big problem if you want him at R2.
Doesn't work that way, you have been playing SC long enough to know that. Preuss just scored +100, so Leon is going to back him in again by himself. Then he gets 80 vs Freo where Darcy time is managed in the fwd line. Now, everyone trades him in and the Leon brings Flynn back in for the big Melb duo. Gawn throw him around like he did with Draper and he pops out a 40. Thats how we get sucked in. Before you know it he is injured and dropped and we are trading him out with Xerri moved to the ruck to keep the constant merry go round at R2 going.

Any reason why Rachele has been traded out if 8.3% of teams? Was he injured? Or more so due to his 42 BE?
As many mentioned small forward and BE. Also started with elevated price so that makes him tempting. Low score and tough run to come work against him. Yet if he didn't give the 50m away at the end he may have scored 55 and punters would be holding longer.

Could go for me for Preuss, ideally, if I can wait a week and judge Rachele vs Ward vs some others it will be better.
