Be interesting how the slaughtering of fattened (or malnourished) cash cows goes this year with the trade boosts.
Stephens and Rachele already with tempting prices and Preuss on the horizon (and N Martin for those like me who don't have him yet). But both with high ceiling.
Rachele in particular could be one who rewards patience, but then again how much patience can we have when there are 14 or 15 trades available to us between RD6 and RD10?
Think we need the temptation to hit the boost and that doesn't look rosy yet. Had thought Erasmus and O'D would have done more, were hyped up in preseason. Would have been ok for starting picks, yet current score would only see you trade a donut to them.
It's worth noting that Preuss will be up against Freo, Melbourne, and St Kilda in the next 3 weeks. That screams ruck share with Flynn or rotation. The former isn't a huge issue at his price unless you're expecting more 100s, the latter is a big problem if you want him at R2.
Doesn't work that way, you have been playing SC long enough to know that. Preuss just scored +100, so Leon is going to back him in again by himself. Then he gets 80 vs Freo where Darcy time is managed in the fwd line. Now, everyone trades him in and the Leon brings Flynn back in for the big Melb duo. Gawn throw him around like he did with Draper and he pops out a 40. Thats how we get sucked in. Before you know it he is injured and dropped and we are trading him out with Xerri moved to the ruck to keep the constant merry go round at R2 going.
Any reason why Rachele has been traded out if 8.3% of teams? Was he injured? Or more so due to his 42 BE?
As many mentioned small forward and BE. Also started with elevated price so that makes him tempting. Low score and tough run to come work against him. Yet if he didn't give the 50m away at the end he may have scored 55 and punters would be holding longer.
Could go for me for Preuss, ideally, if I can wait a week and judge Rachele vs Ward vs some others it will be better.
