Trading Maginness out, think he will get dropped and I don’t think he going to make me cash

Now I will have to decide who to

Going to use J. Williams as my loop, think he will be a one gamer this season

A little bit of draft-game trading talk, anyone?

My new field after swapping Ed Richards for Max King (then moving King to the FWD line over Wright) and picked up Brayshaw by dropping Hayden Young.

My only real question is can King become a consistent option or was RIC an anomaly?

Haven't made any trades so far this week, would really love to get Martin in but not sure how to go about it (currently have $12,900 to spend + whoever I trade out)

C. Stephens > Martin via Rachele who goes to the mid bench, opens up mid/fwd link

Martin looks a must have, who knows when C.Stephens will get a game for a strong cats team.

Any point keeping my Elijah Holland's as my floating zero.... or keep him and trade either Stephens or Rachele for Martin?

I'd trade Hollands.

I think Hollands is more use as a potential downgrade option, rather than a floating donut. You will find it quite annoying if he is the only good downgrade option in any given week down the track, but you already have him in your side.

do you guys think its worth itto invest into a 102k dpp loophole?
I used a trade boost for that, currently don't have a loophole option and at least I have 1 keeper now...
No. You've also missed the boat on this, you should have started a donut from day 1.

Using a boost to grab a donut is a god awful move.

Like I said in my other post to you, you really need to stop trading just for the sake of trading.

You will likely have a 102k dpp loophole in Dixon if Bailey Williams comes back in.

Already made 4 trades, but toying with the idea of ...

OUT: Caldwell & Rachele

IN: Green & Dixon

Could Green hold down a M8 spot by year's end? If he could average 105-110 from here out then 500k for him surely should be a win. Rachele bombed his scoring potential last week. Dixon was ok and if he plays again will rise nicely in price, plus I can swing him with Hayes at R3. I'm running Preuss at R2 so Dixon may provide some extra cover.

My boy Caldwell doesn't look like clearing many more than 25 touches a match despite scoring well for his possies and price (outperforming Berry), but Green's start is phenomenal; 30 odd touches a match and plenty of CB's is nothing to sneeze at. Caldwell only the 8 CBs last match.
Crazy to trade out Caldwell this early IMO

@AryaBosses
Also a very good chance you’ll have someone out on any given week who can serve as a looper. Might not be perfect but having a dedicated loophole player also opens the risk of being short on one line or another - especially this season. And takes up a position where money could be accrued, even with a slow burner.

Thomson Dow had a game high 29 CBAs. He might be one we later regret not having taken. So hard to see many picking him though, at 199k and with Martin this week too. And with none of the popular cows really ready for culling. Mead is another I wonder about? Has had one price rise, but only small due to being sub r2. 18 poss, 8 cp and a few clearances off a wing (+ a few CBAs) in a showdown impressed me. So you'd think he's not the sub again for a bit.

My strat this year is to use the extra trades for cycling through more rookies, a bit earlier/quicker than usual, to try to generate more cash total. And just risk not needing them for covid outs, or having made more points with this strat to make up for it. The hope would be HnS protocol outs are usually just the one week too. An example could be cashing in Rachele/Berry now (who definitely have a bunch more money to make) to a Mead/Dow. Other years I wouldn't dream of that.

I already have Martin. have 145k and wanna at least try this aggro strat. So I'm considering A) Rachele to Mead, Berry to Green or B) Rachele to Gollant, Berry to English. Am I crrrrazy?

Gollant 6 touches 4 goals on the weekend. Thilthorpe not in the side. AVOID. Prestia back in for the tigers. Dow scored 49 his first game of the season. imo Erasmus and/or McInnes better options next week. Mead JS good with Port's injury list. Has done his apprenticeship and Hinkley likely to give him enough footy this year to go up another 100k. IMO Mead worth the risk once that sub game drops out of his average but tbh the best move is to hold this week unless you're desperate to get a say McCartin D6 off field

Taking a great deal of strength to stop me from trading Berry to Green - Loving Green's role, he's right up there and appears to be the got to man for CBA's and ahs the body for it. Must resist the urge but it's not easy.

I could easily do Whitfield to Green... got to hold fire I think. Whitfield probably stays now.'

So tempting though.
