So Im thinking Cripps out and one of Hinge/Skinner out depending on Hinge's injury. Would appreciate some feedback on my team + the trades I need to make. As I posted on the other thread, my rank is very low so could use all the help I can get. 29 Trades is borderline on the too many trades side so ideally would like to keep off from using the boost.

Considering the following trades:
Hinge/ Ward to NOD…
Cripps to English

also think Hayes should get a game and generate more cash with possible Ryder suspension…
unfortunately need to hold Fire with Ridley, Butters etc….may loop off bench and keep Hinge to play rookie roulette…

I think whether we hold Cripps or not depends on our midfield benches. If you have decent cover then there’s merit in holding Cripps if it isn’t an LTI.

If you have cover like myself (Ward, MacDonald, Owens) then I think it’s perfectly fine to trade away.

I don't think there is any merit in holding given upgrade season hasn't started yet.

Sideways to another premium and move on.

That side actually looks pretty strong & well set up.

Like everyone Hinge & Cripps the worries.

Plenty of premium mids out their about to drop in price eg Bont , Miller , Oliver , Petracca , Steele.

Might be able to hold Cripps for a round and play the BE game.

Skinner possibly returns at some stage.

Just then need to be patient with the rest of your rookies and let them moo.

The other thing to consider with Cripps is that score rolling thru for 2 prices cycles. He'll likely be sub $500k after he comes back.
With 35 trades, I think it's a no brainer to move him on.
Back surgery plus hamstring injury within a month....
This.

Back injuries and hammies go hand in hand sadly.

North Melb.
Tom Campbell 31 HO & 20 possession.

Replace Ryder (if suspended) with next like for like and keep your same forward structure.
Is Ryder possibly suspended (missed that completely)?
Any chance they bring Hayes back? He could cover ragin Brayden...

Looks like I have to do some trades this week with Hinge, Cripps and possible Wines all out.
Can't hold Cripps given I'm already running Ward/Stephens on the field.

Just looking at the swans reserves match report, it doesn't sound like Stephens did enough to warrant a recall this week unfortunately, Logan McDonald the star & Gould played well (could he debut at last ... ? ) :-

Port simply didn’t have the tall timber to go with the Swans as Logan McDonald (11 marks, 3.4) and Joel Amartey (six marks, 4.2) dominated the air up forward, Callum Sinclair (16 disposals, 40 hitouts) controlled the ruck and Will Gould (18 touches, seven marks, nine rebounds, countless spoils) was impassable in defence.

McDonald was unstoppable, with 10 of his 11 marks being contested, and it was only poor conversion that stopped him kicking a big bag, with the only downside for Sydney being a hamstring injury to Lachlan McAndrew.

The midfields were evenly matched, with Matt Roberts (32, eight clearances, five inside-50s), Ryan Clarke (26, nine tackles, 10 clearances, nine inside-50s) and Dylan Stephens (22) were in fine fettle for Sydney and Eli Templeton (35 disposals, nine tackles, 10 clearances, six inside-50s, one goal) being everywhere for Port Melbourne after the loss of skipper Tom O’Sullivan to a hamstring injury.

Roberts is certainly one that would be a good downgrade option if he gets a debut, he averaged 160 from 3 games in the SANFL under-18's last year
