It is in most years, but in my case I now have JHF & Daicos at M8&9, by keeping Cripps I get Daicos score onfield. So I don't feel like it's adding points to use a trade in the mids. I really would to like to trade up in Defence, but even there Hinge, Bowey, SDK and PaddyMac all have money to make. NOD is very tempting as downgrade though.... Going to be a tough week decision wise
With the NN news, I am tempted to go Hinge > NOD, Cripps > Dixon (move Dunkley into the mids) which would give me over 500K in the bank for upgrades.
With rookies like Ward, Stephens, MacDonald, etc stalling so early with their cash generation I think someone like Dixon who just had his JS skyrocket & can score so well in his current role is almost a must have.

Skinner could return (wait for teams) , most people will be talking about bringing in Petracca & Oliver in the next rounds so that might be a Cripps option.
Plenty of other premium mids about to drop in price as well.
Not sure if Green will be Top 10 mid personally.
Cripps to someone who is about to get F/M status is another option as well
I should l d be conserving trades but I'm feeling edgy for the boost button! Cripps, Xerri, Benning to Steele, Nod (via Rachele), Dixon. With nic nat out i have no choice but to get Dixon. Hopefully i can field 6 in the backline?
If Hinge's injury is just a corked hip, might get nod in for one of the failed mid rookies (Stephens or Macdonald). Don't think Stephens will be back for a while and would prefer to keep Ward as he has spike game potential.
Interesting trade scenario this week. Will possibly roll with.............
Cripps to Preuss. Yep, I know about his suspension, but this saves a trade for next week. -91 B/E, plenty of money to make while sitting at R3. Sinn to Sicily. In some strife with defenders and the round 12 bye. Wanted to jump on Sinclair last week but just cannot afford to run another round 12 defender. This also allows me to hold Hinge if it's just a corky.
I can't see Dixon making it as a #1 ruck anyway. I think it does lock him in as the best cut-out option though, whereas Williams or someone could push him out until NN's injury.
Happy with the T Dow trade in last week for Stephens, can hopefully hold up a on field mid rookie spot for a while, looked solid for the Tigers
Do we have a price projection for Oliver? BE of 162, 76 average against GWS.
Hinge to NOD if more than a cork, maybe bank cash and hold trades and move Brodie to mid and then Cripps to Oliver next week, however it may take another week for Clarry to fully bottom out, by which point Cripps may be close to fitness again......hmmmm
