2 sideways trades and a small FWD from the Suns.

So many ruck options Preuss this week Hayes next week, i am also considering moving Grundy. Still don't know which way. Keep Gundy and forget pruess, and just pick up Hayes next week. ??

With the DDP so many decisions
Yes , I'll keep Ridley but Grundy is gone (not Gawn lol).
Even if Grundy does come back into form, getting rid of him allows me to bring in Touk Miller and provides much more flexibility .
I have English, Preuss, Xerri, J Hayes and Dixon who are rucks. Basically I'll be putting Hayes on field who is wasted on the bench for Grundy, swinging Daicos into defence, putting N.Martin on field in the mids, main rucks will be English and Preuss with Xerri as a backup in the forward line.
I will definately bring Darcy into the ruck in a few weeks as well.
With the extra trades it's a fairly easy call for me.
Now my only rookies on field are:
Def : Daicos, NOD
Mid: N.Martin
Ruck: Preuss
Forward: Brodie, Xerri, Hayes.
The trades are really about points, but there is also rookies still going up in price plus Rosas and heaps of trades left .

was thinking that, but is hayes a legitimate field option?
Ask those who fielded him last weekend and you'll likely get your answer.
This was very much team specific towards the person I was replying to. Have a look at their team. They wanted Rosas but not willing to field Hayes.
Hold up, if you can see his team why are you saying he must have a very strong fwd line and midfield line? You can see for yourself :p

But yeah, for my money Rowell out for Rosas. Could always play Ward onfield if not confident on Martin :sneaky:
I think everyone is right on this one, issue is one of timeframe!!!!

I love Hayes and played him on field for Preuss out. If Preuss back, then Hayes will go to fwd line and via DPP try to move a mid off the field like JHF to ensure Hayes onfield.

However, Ryder is back next week and there is every chance Hayes could be dropped (my view may be contra, last time I looked I am not the Saints coach).

That means playing Rosas, Dixon or Durdin. Dixon could be gone as well with Oscar Allen in the side. At least Durdin plays North that week, however, I wouldn't be playing any of these guys on field vs Brodie/Xerri/Martin who others may have at F6. People are trading out JHF who has 74 average.

Just some balance hopefully to the discussion.

Gone thru a lot of set ups. But think settling on this one -
Grundy > Preuss
Hinge > Baz
Rowell > Macrae (caved, lol)

Grundy gets 100 and preuss gets 100 the trade pays for itself (grundy down $50k and preuss up $100k or there abouts)

Next week should be able go Hayes to Hayes and Berry to Petracca or Oliver. Or even berry to prem def to sure up that line, undecided atm

Wouldn’t mind a chat over a pint of Guinness to sort it out. Not sure we’d end up with any answers.
I would like that. Off to Ireland for a month mid July, sure I'll get some opinions over there, just have a craic at it perhaps. Might wait for Port Hayes on the bubble and trade St.K Hayes, see how they go.

Don't mind me but just talking myself into Rory Laird over here.

Since his move into the midfield in round 9 of 2020 he has averaged 116.94

Missed only the two games in this period, rounds 1 and 2 this year, due to a broken hand.

See below breakdown of his scoring in that time;
0-90 - 2
90-100 - 5
100-120 - 10
120+ - 17

So has put up captaincy scores in half of those games.

From post-bye last season until now is putting up 122.83.

Someone talk me down of this ledge.
Laird would be a very good F6-8 pod with uber premo spike scoring potential from week to week imo.

why is everyone trading out jhf? give him one more week to restart his cash gen...
Coaches have to start their one-downs somewhere and even if JHF averages 75 over the next three rounds he'll still only make 25k, so his cash gen is essentially on life support.

There's three potentially tough games for him as well coming up on the schedule, Geelong at BA, Carlton at Marvel and Freo out west, so he could easily throw in another low score in at least one of those three (maybe two) and kill off even that small amount of cash gen going forward.

The only thing keeping him in my considerations for next round is that the 96 will still be there in his BE window for another week, so if he can manage to get close to tonning up again in nice enough conditions down in Hobart on Sunday then we might get one more decent price rise out of him. It might be a tall ask though against a Geelong outfit that will be breathing fire after last week's debacle against the Hawks.

Hall out, Preuss in, seems an obvious first step considering injuries and the targets this week.

Leaves me Rowell out and potentially JHF out to two premium mids for $1,171,400 between the two. I'm open for suggestions?

Kangaroo Island was nice, on the ferry back now. Also good to catch up on the SCS trades talk.

Thinking it is Hall, Rowell and Hinge out for Preuss, Steele (seems expensive) and Heeney (no pod but is hurting me). Not 100% on those moves and sad to not be gaining prems... Still coin in the bank, all the best rookies and Oliver in next week.
