What are Ridley owners doing?

Slowly bleeding points and cash and to trade him now would allow a midfield upgrade, but there are no obvious weak points in my team and I can just upgrade around him.

Team seems to look stronger with him in there but of course that's contingent on him breaking out of this funk.

Ownership sits at 17% (down from 22.6% at Rd 1) so do people think he can turn it around, or are they just sticking to the mantra of "don't trade uninjured premiums"?

I'd upgrade him to a mid, opens up a spot in Def for better defender later, Daicos isn't scoring much less than him and on field anyway, still giving you a loop option in the mids, plus whoever you bring in could average 30 PPG extra over the rest of the season. I think you're a bit light in the mids too.

Any advice on what I should do this week? Had a terrible start and really don't want to just end up making it even worse.

You will have enough coin to go:
Hinge > Rosas (Via NOD, Martin)
Rowell > Petracca

The caveat with this strategy although is missing Preuss in preference for S. Hayes next round (which I believe is justified for R3)

Seems this week will really split structures based on the Preuss decision.

Tempted to bring him in at R3(E) just to see what he can score Friday night.

If he dominates then it might sway the hand on trading out Grundy. (Would use the update trade feature potentially.)

If he spuds then might just hold Grundy and skip Sayes next week.

Not sure it’s worth using a boost to do though, as otherwise I was making 2 trades i’m relatively set on. Hinge, Rowell > Trac, Rosas.

Preuss playing first game surely makes it more attractive to at least take a look, especially if he gets named sole ruck. Any other Grawndy holders thinking of hedging their bets?

I don't think it's a given he will even make more than his current R3 alternative in S. Hayes.

Hayes at high 70's will make around the same as Preuss at 95. Hayes allows me to make 3 upgrades with 6 trades over the next 2 rounds - Preuss does not (or reduces the quality). Hayes is the standout number 1 ruck in his team, Preuss has more competition. Preuss could fall apart at any time. Yes, there is the going early factor if getting Hayes this week, so it depends a bit on your upgrade/downgrade cycle. I personally am happy to go early on him because of what it allows me to do.

Different story as R2 as you want the extra points that Preuss probably brings.
I'd mentally locked in Preuss all week, and then this post made me realise I could bring in Oliver this week instead of next if I went Hayes instead of Preuss. Very interesting contribution.

Not sure im making the right choice not going with preuss
Rowell, mead, ridley --> trac, sinclair, rosas.
Strengthens my def and mid lines but still leave my fwd line a bit light on

Finally feel pretty set on some trades

Rowell + hall + JHF -> English + petracca + rosas

Don’t think there’s any issues there, already own preuss, only one would be picking English for 570k but it’s worth it right?
Have the same outgoing players as you and trying to weigh up all the options
Mainly revolves around whether need to get Preuss or wait for Sayes
Is English a must have in forward line?

Might go plan b

Hall to Sicily D3
McCartin / SDK to BZT D6 / Preuss R3

Move Dixon / Macdonald to forward bench
Loop JFH or Martin this week
189k in the bank.

Can lose JFH and Rowell next week depending on what they do this week.

More one for next week but what's Hobbs JS security like for the Bombers? Any big names that are out of their midfield?

Hi all, would appreciate any opinions/help. My rucks are: Gawn (R1), Grundy (R2) and Hayes/Dixon (R3), the swings between ruck/fwd.

I wrongly traded out Xerri to O'Driscoll last week (instead of maybe Hinge or Gibcus, thinking Hinge still has some value and money to make), & it gave me back my fwd/def link doing the Xerri to NOD trade, and also seeing my rucks looked strong, didn't think it would hurt trading out Xerri, but i regret that decision now.

I don't want to bring in Preuss and just have him sitting at R3 on the bench & also breaking my ruck/fwd link.

I'm set on doing: 1: Rowell to Touk. 2: JHF to Rosas. Doing Grundy to Preuss nets 350k, doesn't break any of my dual position links, keeps the ruck/fwd, def/fwd, mid/fwd, and would leave me with 420k ITB for upgrades next week (Bowey to premo DEF or MID), for example). It does leave me vulnerable with Preuss @ R2 though, considering i axed Xerri wrongly last week and Hayes (Stk) js shaky with Ryder back next week.

Any opinions or advice are appreciated. I attached my teams, pre above proposed trades & post.

Disastrous R5 2149, after R3 8/10, R4 9/10, then R5 2/10 league wins :(
So Hall, Bowey, Rowell > Sinclair, Tom Green, NOD.
Expecting Short to lift and Rachele, JHF to improve

If Oliver goes 130 this week he will still be around $25k cheaper next week. If he goes 110 this week he could be sub $590. I was thinking about this week but have re arranged the trading deck chairs hoping to take advantage of a possible price fall.

Would you sell Grundy for Preuss, if it allowed you to bring in Mitchell and. Bailey Smith.?
When you put it like that absolutely. Although, I think the decision should be more about whether you think Grundy will be a top 2 (or close enough) ruck this year, and what it does for your ruck structure when you trade him out. If you base it off who you can get in for a 550k player, you can make a case to trade out just about anyone.
