I've got Hall and Rowell to trade out and -$20k to find a two replacements 🙃

If I leave Rowell as is (yuk?) I have $489k for a def keeper and nobody who is still unlocked looks all that appealing.

I could bring in Luke McDonald + Sicily for the budget
Or Hobbs and any defender (Stewart or Crisp probably)
Or Petracca and any sub-$300k def or forward... but again none of those look particularly flash.

Any suggestions?

I have some cash in the bank, so if Rosa's really is out I can go early on an upgrade and bring in a player on any line under $537.5k.

Pendlebury looking like the best option at this stage, but not ideal. Ruins my Oliver/Petracca double upgrade next week.

Might be easier just to go Rosas (if confirmed out) - > Long , reopens my F/M link with Martin & Rachele

Will have Dixon forward bench next round so don't really want 2 possible DNP's

Want to save my 🏦 for 2 premium mids next round

Thankfully we have 3 games after the GC game for options , imagine the meltdowns if we didn't 😀

That might not be ideal though because Hayes , Hobbs , Rosas (back on the bubble) might all be must haves next round

Rosas being out is a real kick in the guts considering I was iffy on bringing him on board in the first place. Kinda ****ty off that we couldn't have known this before last night's game so I could swing Brodie back into the FWD's but **** happens I guess (at least we can swap trades around now).

As I see it I've got the following options:

A) Move Ned Long to F6, wear either JHayes score or Long's score, and reverse the Rowell or JHF trades to bring one of them back at M8 (behind Berry).

B) Move Ned Long to F6, wear either JHayes score or Long's score, and bring in a MID up to 527k

C) Move McCartin to F6 and bring in a defender up to 527k (have to bench Nick Daicos)

D) Move Ned Long to F6, wear either JHayes score or Long's score, move Crisp to M8 and bring in a defender up to 527k

C) Bring in a FWD up to 527k

I've got to be honest and say that I'm completely at a loss as to what to do this morning after a tidy little sleep in - this has screwed up my trade plans structurally-speaking for the next couple of weeks unless I choose to bite the pillow and take JHayes (or Long's) score, which means bye bye public league matchup.

Any help (or rather perspective on this as that is what I'm lacking) would be appreciated here - team is below:

Nothing official about Rosas being out btw

Has their been confirmation that Long is playing ? thought he was a Emergency

Forward option I would look at JDG personally.

Defender option would be Sicily.

A day out from the game there's not a whole lot of certainty around Long yet (already a couple of late changes), but like I said my choice if I shift him back to M6 is either wearing JHayes 19 or whatever Long scores. Hell if I knew Long was playing I'd probably just reverse the Rowell trade for now and wear Long's score whatever it ended up being.

I guess if I basically blow my cash ITB on someone like DeGoey (who I don't rate as a keeper because we know he'll miss games one way or another and is already spending too much time up forward for my liking) then I'll probably be forced to use a boost again next week.

Defender option would likely require shifting Crisp to M8 to make it work, I think I've drawn a line through the McCartin to F6 option now option as the likely gain from Daicos to premo wont be enough to justify benching Daicos, even though accounting for the 40-50 odd points I'd get back from playing McCartin's score at F6 over JHayes.

Rosas potential out has thrown the cat amongst the pigeons.

If there is confirmation before the Nth v Geelong game, I can reverse my JHF to Rosas trade and call it a day.
Otherwise I might have to go early on Hobbs ( which is bound to end in tears )

If he is indeed out I may go to Kai Lohmann, as the bank is empty.
Same, or Flynn Perez bleh...

Can't quite make Hobbs for whom I think JS is pretty good for a run in the side; what with Zerrett and Packo named alongside him.

Well I'm going Hall+Rowell to Crisp+Hobbs.

And if Rosas is not a late out I'll swap them to Petracca and Rosas.

With Rosas out I've gone with Hobbs, don't like it but I don't know what the go is with Rosas, hate bringing in a rookie early plus whacking him on the field.
Doing the same I think. Hobbs was impressive on debut and holding his spot with Merrett and Stringer back in is a good sign. No other options really.
