Be interesting to see how the other rookies go this round and see how Hayes goes against Ryder.

Not sure how long Williams is out for.

I will have both J Hayes & Xerri so just need to see what to do with them , whether I downgrade one and get the other to a premium mid.

Dixon might work at F7 for a few more games.

Greg Clark summarises what irritates me about SC. And apologies in advance to anyone who this worked out for...

Carnage week, people looking eating donuts, they trade in Clark sight unseen and have to play him onfield, 100 first up. Talk about getting kissed on the ****.

Such bull****, and seems to happen at least once every season. You play the %'s week in, week out and get rewarded with 60s. So ****ing lame.

Yep, so much luck,agree.

But I personally started him in DT after Hewett was out (Via DP to mid bench) because I had seen him play many times in the WAFL, knew he can find the pill no issues … just wished I did the same in SC 😂😂😳🤦🏻‍♂️

Can't believe i picked Witherden over Short
Don't beat yourself up over it. Witherden has an elite role and scored a 97 in what was quite an average game (aside from a few lucky intercepts) and on the end of a shellacking. I think he has quite a high floor and will become an uber-premo. The stars aligned for Short tonight playing as a centre-bounce mid against an absolutely horrific West Coast outfit. He's clearly a top 3 defender but tonight was an outlier.

Only 4,868 traded him in this week. People who gamble with too many selections don't win long term, play the percentages and take the occasional gamble, that gets results.

Need your fair share of PODs this year, with 35 trades everyone is going to end up with virtually the same side otherwise
It's less than you think. If I started Sinclair over Ridley, Green over Rowell & Heeney over Butters. Those 3 changes are worth 477pts. That would put me in the top 100-200 overall.

I don’t know much about Witherdon but I did watch the full game last night due to Jayden Short (vice) and was quite impressed with Witherdon as a SuperCoach player. In any other game, that would have been a 120 game from Witherdon.

Possibly Aaron Hall to Witherdon or Pendles trade next week for me.

Yes but you needed those PODS from the start of the season to get the advantage, now everyone has them coming into their thinking you've lost the points already and are just chasing ground on the top sides that all have boosts to keep improving their sides.

I'm bringing in Witherden next week as well I reckon. Have previously known him as WitherTON for a reason.

I think you'll find, that those that are already sitting Preuss, Hayes / XXXX, will in all likelihood, add Strnadica. Why not?
Totally agree, only just realised last night with Grundy out that Dixon to Strnadica is possible.
Unless Begg goes 100+ 😀
This - few understand it! Nice one Herbie, good pick up. Will watch. 197cm though, pretty short, is he in to play forward for DC 205cm in the ruck?

Am one of those few, with the only real q is whether we cash out Dixon or not (or someone else for that matter)

Yes, is a 40-60 player, have a tough run coming, late in and had the one good spike which helped make him circa 150k. will thank him for his service, far exceeded expectations that I had at round 1-2. Probably gets more games, doesn't necessarily make money.

Considering any of Dow/Dixon/McCartin downgrade via DPP. Naturally Clark is 1 week behind as well so need to consider also
That's my main concern. Are West Coast interested in giving game time that would otherwise go to a player like Williams who they're (I assume) still invested in developing to a couple of ex Freo players if they have a choice?
Whilst both Strnadica and Dixon went 22% and 20% respectively HTW and 40% HTA, Dixon would have been up more against Soldo I expect, the back up ruck. Whilst it seems Eagles are moving around on choice, feels like it is Strnadica first. We will see this week. Oscar Allen pushed back so there not many choices, Strnadica has about 5cm on Dixon.

Agree, although many would have gone early on Hobbs. O
ther would be looking Rosas, trade Grundy and Hayes so Clarke was always a watch.
To be fair anyone who watches WAFL for any longer than 5 minutes knew he was a jet it was just whether or not you wanted a premo mid plus Hayes and Rosas as a priority or not.
Probably very few do watch WAFL, been a long time since I have the Sharks play (no longer based in Perth). Plus, sometimes it doesn't translate.

Whoever put him Ruck only doesn't watch football then, thats a ridiculous decision by the powers that be, plays significant time forward post ruck contest and averages nearly a goal a game in the WAFL.
Probably extra 5 trades didn't want to boost us.

Roll the dice on NOD, or take Gibcus’ 79 and give up any cover for a late out, e.g. Daicos. Tricky one.

Previously butchered the ball, 1 clanger is a great result. Bruise free foot helping him maybe. I know I never saw an Eagles play near a tigers when they were transitioning

Sinclair has 11% ownership, I'd still class that as a POD...

You seem to missed the point completely. Which is using just 3 PODs I turned my team into a top 200team. You don't need to take that many risks and have a lot of PODs. Just a few is enough to make a difference.

Also people end up with similar sides, that has always happened. But yet at the end of the year your matches still have different players. Because 60-70% ownership isn't 100%, and when you have 60-70% ownership for 22 players there will be many differences between the two teams.

If I plan my trades around trying to cover for a potential Daicos "out" then I get a complete mess. I'm just going to take the coaches comments on face value and assume he will play (even though this risks a donut :cautious:)
Yep, coaches don't really need to play games with rookie selections. Would've just managed him if they needed to. Sounds like its coming soon though. Probably next week.
