apologies if this is stickied somewhere but is anyone else having issues with dpp trading?

in the past i could always sub a dpp to the line i am trading out of but this year it isnt working for me...

been able to work around it by pre-swapping so far but this week i don't have that option.
I just managed to do it without any issue … maybe try the old close/reopen if you haven’t already?

$8,600 in the bank, 19 trades left 1 boost.

Not exactly sure how to go about this round
kind of want to hold cogs, named in the guts hoping he can tonne up

Wanting to trade Steele, Martin, Gibcus OUT -> Laird, Dawson, Clark IN
Don't really want to pay up for Sicily at 600k, but it suits my bye structure better getting him because im struggling for Round 12 & 13 players
So maybe i have to keep Martin for an extra week and trade Cogs now to get Sicily in.

No donut late in the round also the other issue, dont want to field durdin straight up but may have to go that way if im wanting to do my planned trades. I may put the 4 rookies playing tomorrow on the bench and looping the highest score by trading in a donut with Laird and Clark.

Thoughts?
Out: D Stephens, J Gibcus and J Steele
In: G Clark, R Thompson/B Khamis and R Laird

Approx $250,000 remaining to upgrade to a defensive premium next round. If you intend to trade one or both of Martin and Coniglio, I would prefer to opt for a defender since there is a lack of appealing options up forward and swinging Rioli forward means fielding one of Durdin, Rosas or Rioli which I would prefer to avoid. Ideally I would hold until their bye and reassess dependent on your bye structure.

Daicos - > Clark
Martin , N - > Laird

$ 37,800.00 in the Bank , 15 Trades

Still need to upgrade :-

Blakey , Ryan , Whitfield
Coniglio
D Rioli , Curnow

Should be able to get $ from :-

McCartin , SDK & Hayes
May as well go Whitfield - > Clark instead and keep Daicos.

$ 80,200.00 in the Bank so hopefully gets me Curnow - > Merrett direct.

Wait and see what happens with DPP after Round 11 then decide when/who to cash out Hayes , McCartin & SDK to.

Just a reminder about Clark from preseason, why I think he is a must have :-

WEST COAST
Greg Clark $117,300 MID
2021 SC Ave: 121 (WAFL)

Mature age pick-ups are KFC SuperCoach gold and Clark registered some mouth-watering numbers in the WAFL last season for Subiaco. The 24-year-old averaged 27.5 disposals, 7.3 tackles 4.9 clearances and 121 points – this is including an injury affected score of 1. Clark, a 193cm goalkicking midfielder, generated scores of 135, 140 and 181 in the WAFL finals series – the last of those coming in Subiaco’s grand final win, where he finished with 25 disposals, 14 tackles, six clearances and two goals.

For me its Clark and a fwd premo(libba) or laird and a rookie not in the mid. Would love some thought do i finish my mid off with laird and not bring in clark?

Would it possible to post your side, remaining salary, trades remaining and boosts remaining to further assist us with any recommendations?

Good quality playing rookies to downgrade to at this point of the season are hen's teeth. Much more important to get the good ones than to get a fully-priced premo. Your time to get Laird will come, but Clark will be gone after this week.

Me to. Had to swap Cogs and Martin before I traded as I could not swap them withing the trade window.

I am in a very similar circumstance. I can get Laird but it means skipping Clark. With Hamilton now dropped and Rioli untrustworthy (at best) on my mid bench I am currently thinking I need to prioritise Clark.….but gee Laird looks good in my mids (terrible bye for me though).
