Will be nice reading through the thread on Sunday afternoon and not have every second post be about Whitfield
Or Leon Cameron 😉 , will piss myself laughing if McVeigh was moving the magnets on match days all this time.

Hopefully the standards of the site will rise again , certainly a lack of "value" in the in game thread discussion once the games start every round.

This year‘s scores are off the chart. With the expected ”completed” team score usually pushing 2,400, this year could well see C-Money‘s 2014 record toppled.
My very ordinary team is just averaging over 2400 at the moment with 6 players onfield in the 80's , once the very good coaches complete their sides (in the next couple of Rounds) they will probably be getting closer to 2600 per round after the Byes.

I'm sure it will revert back to Bevo, putting Dunkley in the ruck again. 😁

Was mentioned/reported after Round 4 that he had been playing sore in the ankles and knees
Thanks @Herbie - I let that one slip through to the keeper.

They keep it quiet so the opposition don’t target it.

Was obvious there was something wrong like Neale last year - I just can’t believe how many people decided to hold. Will be a 2023 bargain (y)
I find it hard to believe an opposition team is going "target" a player because he has a dodgy ankle. Ribs, hip, even a wrist where contact impacts on ability to perform maybe but ankle I don't think so. He scored 96 in the official pre season game so I think a lot of coaches did not see him as an obvious problem prior to Rd 1 and he had no fitness issues then. What he needs is to eat the same breakfast Zorko does. It gets his body up every week when it should be falling apart.

Who am I? I just scored 37, have a b/e of 146, and despite being in my 11th season the spot I got picked in the draft 12 years ago is still in the top 3 attributes people can come up with to describe me.

(FWIW I'm holding Coniglio but think both choices are rational and don't like that kind of reductive thinking. C'mon Freako you're better than that!)

Coniglio looks like he has lost confidence and is so out of touch. Is it a mental problem, or is he carrying some physical injury? Currently, he is not the same Coniglio that was scoring well in the past.
Maybe the new Coach can spark him?

Tippa retiring, always liked him even if he played for the Bombers, was a great rookie at $102k a few years back and it's a shame we wont see him playing again.
Shattered to be honest. Just hope he's ok. He's given so much joy, and I think AngryAnt's sentiments about being a really well liked player throughout the league is a testament to his character and the way he played. Love the guy.

I think we also underestimate how hard it is for some of the blokes from the north especially the Tiwi Islanders to come all the way down here and live what is basically an alien lifestyle, learn a new language and adapt whilst being a professional athlete. Was a great player to watch and added a lot of value to your side as well.
