Not the start Max would have wanted, especially at a new track where a few extra laps in practice could mean a couple of tenths come Q3.

Also interesting to hear both perez and norris talk to the lack of grip off the racing line - Miami might well be another Monaco in more ways than one!

907, up 27 to 16.

Really happy with how this morning went, got the C call right and also a bit of good fortune bringing Albon and Williams in (really because I couldn't afford much else to fund Max).

Just casting the eye over players and it won't be long before we start asking questions around Hamilton and Alonso at their current prices...

I've prepared some driver and teams break evens going into round 6. Haven't had much free time this week, so I'll just provide the numbers.

Drivers: Bottas -9, Tsunoda 1, Latifi 1, Albon 5, Max 21, Seb 22, Zhou 24, Ocon 26, Magnussen 26, Schumacher 29, Stroll 30, Sainz 35, Alonso 38, Gasly 49, Perez 70, Norris 70, Dan Ric 70, Russell 76, Leclerc 111, Hamilton 171

Teams: Williams -4, Alfa 19, Haas 27, Alpha 32, Alpine 33, Aston 36, Red Bull 52, McLaren 95, Ferrari 106, Mercedes 157

Trades:
As the calendar is back to 22 rounds, we've effectively all been given 2 free trades this season. So I'm keen to use those as part of early season money making.

Out: Leclerc, Perez, Albon
In: Max, Sainz, Bottas

Max (C), Sainz, Bottas, Zhou
Red Bull, Red Bull, Ferrari, Alfa Romeo

Red bull, sainz and bottas in for ferrari, perez and albon. Feels really harsh to drop albon after last week!

Mercedes P2 and P3 in second practice. One to think about come next week for sure

Good to see Mercedes getting closer but I think it might be a bit longer than a week before we can seriously consider them for our setups. The overall qualifying and race pace numbers I've seen suggest they are still clearly 3rd. Mercedes is still more expensive than Ferrari, so I think it might be 3-4 more rounds before they become a useful option.

Agree with all of that! I probably wasn't specific enough, was moreso thinking about Hamilton given the high breakeven and the fact imola will be out of his average soon. Obviously will depend on how he scores this week.
