Same with Brett Turner and the Crows. Watched his highlight reel today and one of my coworkers is a big Glenelg supporter and was raving about him. Reckon he'll add some speed and skill into our midfield. Booming big kick too.
Turner has not played for the Bays in over a month.
Injured?

No surprises at the selection table so it’s 21 available (15 keepers, 6 rookies) for me this week barring any late changes. I feel I’m a whole lot better placed than seasons prior where I would barely scrape 18.

I think I'm going to be something like 21-19-21 after my planned trades. However that's a strong reliance on teams for the next two weeks...

Dpp and the extra 5 trades has definitely helped a lot to achieve numbers for the byes.

Did my planned trades, and I have a projected score of 2,112 for this round. I know this is likely my strongest bye round, but I'd happily take that from 18 players! Most of my opponents projections are currently around 1800, but I have no idea if they have all their playing players on field.

I do have 21 playing, 14 premiums, so I would hope for around 2K, but 2,112 seems too high for how well I have been going. I'm guessing there's plenty here in even better shape?

I have 20 - 15 premiums/ 5 rookies … maybe 6 if Dylan Stephens is a late in or sub (I will take anything for him now lol)

Always seem to see you up there in the rankings mate, wont be joining you this year sadly

I’m only gonna be running right on 18 in byes due to so many dead rookies on bench who just die once I grab em

Previous 3 seasons was in the top 200 going into the byes 😭 now I’m sitting pretty at 2.8k

Am I right to assume that players from teams on the bye will not be locked out?
Ie. If we have one in our on-field 22, can we plonk the "C" on them at any point during the round?
Can trade players on the bye right up until the last game of the round begins too so we can all hold off on Hayes to Teakle or even Vlastuin to Sinclair for those silly enough 🤪

Thoughts:

Should I bring in a FD donut this week (will def bring in a few 102kers over the byes), or say Owens, and see how the new rookies drop over the coming weeks?

Question to the WCE supporters on here….what are the chances of Jai Culley getting games during the byes? Not named this week…what chance will he be for round 14?
Culley will train with the Eagles on Friday at Adelaide Oval before the team’s clash with the Crows and is a chance to line-up for the WAFL Eagles next weekend against Claremont.

My guess is they will give him a few games at WAFL level, give him time to settle into living in Perth. Maybe in a month pending his form, he might get a chance then - if he can reproduce some of the form I saw in the videos in the games he has played so far this year, I could certainly see him debuting in 3/4 weeks 🤞
