Whilst @Gruffles was 3rd for the week overall, and top of the group, clearly his biggest achievement this week was that he led his Cats to a victory over the joint 2nd ranked @bluesbrothers and Carlton by 76 points.

Sharing second was @Philzsay who got the victory for the Bombers over @UltraSNORF and the Suns by 137 points.

The ladder leading Hawks continue on their merry way as @Bay11 gave them a 108 points victory over @Beached az and West Coast.

The Roos discarded the riff raff of last week to move back into the top 4 with @ChrisCross defeating Richmond and @BIGB0Y by 91 points.

Fremantle got a 6th victory for the year in a thriller over Sydney with @The Experiment getting over @wogitalia by 6 points.

Brisbane consolidate their position in the 8 with @arpod leading them to victory over the @Spifflicator led GWS by 25 points.

The Pies move up to 3rd after @MC's Mix got them a 66 point victory over the formerly 3rd placed Crows who were represented by @Hondo.

In another close up @Raaraab got over @Zim^zuM by 29 points. This gave St Kilda a win over the Western Bulldogs.

Luck of the draw for the Demons who recorded a victory despite being ranked 17th for the round. That is because they played the 18th ranked team in Port Adelaide. The reps here were @dalts_2 and @Tails.

Good work @Raaraab gives us saints supporters a sniff.
Need the Freo followers to salute again and us to stop the Eagles this round and we can sneak into the 8!
And then we can do a Bradbury through the finals πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
Whose with me πŸ˜‚
I’m with you now @wolfbunny. I’m embarrassed that I didn’t know about this thread. What a great concept. I’ve just enjoyed going back through old results and the banter! πŸ˜ƒ πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡ͺ

@Herbie66 tops the group this week to lead the Magpies to victory by 63 points over the Bombers who were jointly led by @howza and @Philzsay who were equal 3rd in the group. Notable Collingwood also had the second ranked team with @soyy.

Carlton moved into the top 4 with a 38 point victory over GWS. The Blues were represented by @Dalla and the GWS by @NT.Thunder.

Sydney got their 3rd victory in the final round with @Kennedy getting over the @Hondo and the 5th placed Adelaide by 46 points.

Port Adelaide also got another win with @BigRuss leading them to victory over Geelong and @Keven by 42 points.

St Kilda got a crucial victory over West Coast with @Snowman outlasting @Rumbler by 19 points. This meant they finish in 8th position (more on this later).

Gold Coast also got another win with @UltraSNORF doing the business against @T-Rex and Brisbane by 39 points.

Melbourne defeated the Bulldogs in a thriller as @francis got over @aleceee by just 8 points.

Hawthorn finished undisputed minor premiers, 2 games clear of second, by defeating North Melbourne in another close one by just 10 points. The respective reps here were @Tamuhawk and @Dukez. The loss by North cost them a top 4 finish.

However the most dramatic game and most significant result was played out between the 17th and 18th ranked teams for the week. Fremantle and @bloke also got another win (in a round that saw 4 of the bottom 5 salute) over the previously 8th placed Richmond and @Backbone by a single point. In a result sure to stir up repressed memories for the Tigers this means they finished 9th.

This means the finalists are now determined and a traditional top 8 finals series will now take place over the next 4 weeks to determined the 2022 SCS One-Eyed Club Challenge Premier.

The top of the table Hawthorn accounted for the defending champion Carlton with @Ironhawk getting over @min0008 by 24 points. It looks the Hawks title to lose as they continue to dispatch all comers. The Blues will have to take the long way around if they wish to go back to back.

Essendon booked their spot in the semi with a 22 point victory over Collingwood. The representatives here were @frosty1 for the Bombers and @Snatch for the Magpies. Essendon book their place in the prelim and will look to avenge the heartbreak of 2021. Collingwood will have to regroup and get ready for a semi next week.

St Kilda lives to fight another day thanks to @Muffin Head's victory over North Melbourne and @Beg2Differ by 27 points. Last year's runner up disappointing bowing out in the first week of the finals.

Adelaide got up over Brisbane in the other knockout final with @Blaze topping @T-Rex by 85 points. It's onward and upward for the Crows and mad Monday for the Lions.

Not to be forgotten are the top scorers for the other teams being @Enderling (Geelong 2590), @Trickee (Sydney 2540), @Killerbees (Port Adelaide 2529), @Shannon (West Coast 2514), @Backbone (Richmond 2493), @Spifflicator (GWS 2485), @Erich1036 (Gold Coast 2477), @The Night Manager (Melbourne 2476), @GOAUS! (Western Bulldogs 2466) & @The Experiment (Fremantle 2452).

St Kilda's giant killing ways continue as they dispatch both of the last year's grand finalists in consecutive weeks. This week it was @Harmonic Nine getting them a 16 points victory over Carlton and @PressurePoint.

In the other semi the Magpies got over the Crows with @Bangers88 top scoring in the group for the week and earning a victory by 40 points over Adelaide and @Game of Sloanes.

We now head to preliminary final week with Saints riding a crest of a wave and look to knock off another grand finalist in the 2020 premiers Essendon. The other prelim is between the all conquering Hawks and the highest respresented team in Collingwood.

The other top scores for each team this week were @Bay11 (Hawthorn), @Locky27 (Essendon), @THCLT (North Melbourne), @T-Rex (Brisbane), @Backbone (Richmond), @Paully (West Coast), @Ntay4 (Melbourne), @Keven (Geelong), @Crocodiles (Western Bulldogs), @bloke (Fremantle), @Killerbees (Port Adelaide), @Erich1036 (Gold Coast), @Spifflicator (GWS), @avantgarde (Sydney)
