@Herbie66 tops the group this week to lead the Magpies to victory by 63 points over the Bombers who were jointly led by
@howza and
@Philzsay who were equal 3rd in the group. Notable Collingwood also had the second ranked team with
@soyy.
Carlton moved into the top 4 with a 38 point victory over GWS. The Blues were represented by
@Dalla and the GWS by
@NT.Thunder.
Sydney got their 3rd victory in the final round with
@Kennedy getting over the
@Hondo and the 5th placed Adelaide by 46 points.
Port Adelaide also got another win with
@BigRuss leading them to victory over Geelong and
@Keven by 42 points.
St Kilda got a crucial victory over West Coast with
@Snowman outlasting
@Rumbler by 19 points. This meant they finish in 8th position (more on this later).
Gold Coast also got another win with
@UltraSNORF doing the business against
@T-Rex and Brisbane by 39 points.
Melbourne defeated the Bulldogs in a thriller as
@francis got over
@aleceee by just 8 points.
Hawthorn finished undisputed minor premiers, 2 games clear of second, by defeating North Melbourne in another close one by just 10 points. The respective reps here were
@Tamuhawk and
@Dukez. The loss by North cost them a top 4 finish.
However the most dramatic game and most significant result was played out between the 17th and 18th ranked teams for the week. Fremantle and
@bloke also got another win (in a round that saw 4 of the bottom 5 salute) over the previously 8th placed Richmond and
@Backbone by a single point. In a result sure to stir up repressed memories for the Tigers this means they finished 9th.
This means the finalists are now determined and a traditional top 8 finals series will now take place over the next 4 weeks to determined the 2022 SCS One-Eyed Club Challenge Premier.
