Apologies but needed to try and urge my supercoach team to victory this afternoon (mainly failed). There are a few issues with the above results tables however the scores should be right.
Congrats mate on coming equal first, great effort...that's me on the other end of the ladder lol

Scoring seems to mimic my own golf game having scored off the stick anything from eagles to +10 on many given holes played in the past year. Oh for a consistent 18 hole round.
The nett score in this format is flattering for overall selections made during the practice round.

SCS 2022 AFL Finals Golf - Full Details

So most have had a 3 putt and a taken few shots getting out of a bunker and a few have even had a chip in however now it is time to step up on to the first tee under championship pressure and see what you are made off.

The rules for this year will be the same as last year with one exception (in bold).
  • Four players will be nominated from each team for each game where 1 of 9 points brackets is selected.
  • An emergency is also nominated for each team which will only be used if one of the 4 primary players nominated does not play. If a second player in one team doesn't play then the emergency from the other team will count if it not already being used. If more then 2 players are out then we will just run with fewer players.
  • A captain must also be nominated and if the nominated captain does not play then the captain will become the Emergency for that team.
  • Scoring - Correct bracket Eagle (-2); 1 bracket off Birdie (-1); 2 off Par (-); 3 off Bogey (+1); 4 or more off (+2).
  • The nominated captain's score will improve by 1 if they achieve a par or better. ie a captain who gets an eagle will score -3.
  • Each week of finals only the lowest scoring game from that week will count towards a participants cumulative total.
  • The winner will be the participant who achieves the lowest aggregate of those 4 scores across the finals series.
  • The entry forms should not allow a player being missed however if there is some calamity that results in a no selection being recorded for a player in a game then the a default bracket of number 8 will be used.
  • It is not necessary to play every game however playing every game obviously increases the chances of achieving a low score that will be used in the aggregate.
  • For those games where a participant does not submit selections their score for that game will be determined using a default bracket of 8 for each player and the captain will be final player listed in the captain selection list on the form. Note however that this will be permitted for 2 games, a 3rd game of no selections will result in disqualification.
