Huge well done!

Surely Top 100?
And possibly join me for the unique two time top 100 finish in the same year.

14/1198 (Bowers) with D Darcy and Parker to play in the final match of season 2022B.
It looks like Super Squad have finished on 1339 for round 10. and 11324 for season 2022B. which should be good for a rise in overall from 868 after round 9, I was 618 as at Saturday night but expect to slip back slightly with my 4 Sunday players scoring 246, and some others likely to be fielding 5 or 6 and moving past me.

This will be first season of a top 8, 4 week finals. Meaning that home ground advantage for prelims will be decided onfield rather than by ladder positions. which is a real positive.

A few key players under injury and/or HSP clouds while the winners of Geelong vs North would back themselves to be competitive in finals week 2. It should be a great month of games.

Final SCS Overall Ranking

Top SCS scorer for the round @Under The Dome fell agonisingly short of the Top 100.

Congrats to @Ironhawk on winning the league match up and also being the top SCS scorer for Season 2022B. Both he and I get the cap for being Top 100 finishers.

Has been a very enjoyable season. See you all next AFLW season and hope to see you all in the BBL12 thread in a month and half's time.

I finished in 42nd for the season in the end. Bit of a drop from 25th after Rd 9, but still a great result. Very happy with that!

Thanks to everyone here who posted your teams before the season kicked off. I have never followed the AFLW before this season, I had seen a game or two at times, and recognised a couple of names but that was it. I decided to just pick some popular players from teams posted here for my starting team (which worked well) and added in a few of my own picks (which were all poor choices). It got me a good starting team, and I couldn't have managed a result this well without you.

I still don't know how I did so well - I saw parts of just two or three matches all season again this year - bit embarrassing to admit, although I did like what I did get to see. I think this lack of knowledge may have helped me be unbiased in my selections and to pick solely on stats, form and match ups. A short season also helped - it favours trading hard and not necessarily looking for value with every trade which is something I do too much in other fantasy comps. It did make trades harder towards the end of the season, when I had less easy cash to use, but trading in a few of the better gun players early at the expense of bench cover set up my good result.

I honestly did not expect a result anywhere near this good when I signed up, I originally just did it to fill in a bit of a gap in between other fantasy sports, expecting to maybe crack the top 1000 if everything went right. I'm glad I gave it a go - it is the best result I've ever had in any fantasy sport, and I definitely have more respect for the players than I did before it started. There's plenty of talent in the AFLW, and I really hope to see more support of the competition from the AFL, media and general public over coming years.

Hopefully everyone else was happy with their final results. I'll definitely be back to do even better next time around, hopefully this is even bigger and better in 2023.

The Ferral Bird defeated Tamuhawk in a thrilling Grand Final.

Joining those 2 teams in the top tier competition in 2023 are fellow finalists Daisy Over Duck, Foxys Felions, Norfolk N Chance and Flying Horses as well as Stephen 247, Barking Gheckos, Champagne Bowers and Bunlit Roos who all qualified via the Rounds 8-10 crossover playo***.

With year 1 of league play done and dusted hopefully we can provide competitive leagues for all SCS coaches into the future, as well as their friends and relatives if they also wish to join.

Final score tables - hopefully error free or close too this week !
