Smith the only one out of the top 4 seeds to make the semis. He wasn't the only upset, but losing 7 legs straight wouldn't happen too often.

Michael Smith was down 2 breaks. Ross Smith was down 8-3 before Wright butchered the 12th leg when he should have been ahead 9-3 comfortably.
Van Duijvenbode smacked Noppert. That wasn't luck. He had darts to win every leg Noppert won, so he could have won that 10-0.

EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP FINAL RESULTS​

A maiden winner was guaranteed heading into the evening session after Peter Wright's elimination, and it was 27th seed Ross Smith who prevailed 11-8 over Michael Smith in a high quality final. Like his semi win over Chris Dobey, Ross burst out of the blocks in the final and was never headed. 4 clutch 100+ finishes was the catalyst to claim the trophy.



We next head to the Grand Slam of Darts event, which I believe starts in 12 days time on Saturday morning. I will confirm this when the draws are out. The field is not confirmed until a qualifying event is played this weekend to fill remaining positions in the field.
