Unless Wood can slow that wrist variation down just a touch more, and find the flexibility to turn it into a wrongun, he needs to go to a more orthodox slower ball, and run his fingers across it. I bowled left arm fast/medium for years, and that wrist variation of the slower ball just doesn't work, unless you can get it out of the back of the hand!

Apparently Chris Green is under investigation as of today again for his bowling action.

This is a concern as I was keen on taking him with him being in good form lately. Would have to be in doubt to play all 4 games in first 2 rounds? May allow Sangha to bowl a few overs?

Don’t think it’s the first time he’s bowled a bit in the pre-season matches. Hasn’t bowled much in the last few years in bbl, hard to see that changing.
