I think there is zero chance Behrendorff misses the Scorchers best XI if fit. He is the only guy that genuinely swings the new ball and as a left hander offers variation we otherwise do not have. His work in the powerplay is second to none IMO across the entire comp.

If we were to play Hatzoglou, I would actually have Mills/Tye on the outside looking in. But with Turner showing more ability to bowl (previously his back hasn't allowed it) as a potential second spinner I think we roll with all four of JRich/Tye/Mills/Behrendorff to start, and could even play Kelly ahead of Hatz if required.

RE: The batting. I would expect Turner as the anchor, 5 or 6 and Bancroft opening given how thats how we have usually operated the last year or two. It was only when Bancroft was out of the side that we were super aggressive in our opening pairs (with Munro/Roy).

Max Bryden on SC Playbook WhatsApp said just now that Green will play until his testing is done.
Any indication what game he was reported in ?

my understanding was that he had to be tested within 14 days (or maybe that's from the time the report has been submitted)

Hasnain couldn't get tested in Australia so he was still allowed to bowl in the PSL

Only conjecture , Green played :-

Nov 17 Marsh Cup v Tasmania
Nov 22-25 Shield v Western Australia
Nov 27 Marsh Cup v Queensland
Dec 1 - 4 Shield v Victoria

You would think if he was to "lose" his action , it would have been in one of the Shield games

There was a Sixers vs Thunder game. I'm not comfortable passing on that much info from the SC Playbook WhatsApp discussions as it is subscriber only. The subscription is $30 for the season and good value I believe.

I’m very tempted to join. How does it work? Do you get a sign in or something? Is honey all just a Twitter thing or do they have a website ?

The group chat is pretty good then? Lots of members?
49 at the moment, Max Bryden has posted quite a few chats today giving a fair bit of info that I don't think is well known yet and his views. I think from memory that he worked for the Sydney Sixers previously so I understand he gets inside information from people he knows.
