Great work!

This is worth a look. Geelong looks low (batter) scoring to me, based on the associate/qualifying WC games.
Yeah tonight's games makes it very interesting. It seems like historically only 5-6 wickets per inning so less points there plus potentially less exposure to the tail. Scoring seems to be 140-160 with some higher outliers, meaning possibly less SR bonus on offer.

Seems risky to be over exposed on bowlers, and they might genuinely try 7 different guys if the wickets aren't coming, but then anyone outside the top 4 may not face enough balls to be relevant. If it was a SGR, I wouldn't go near this one!

Been trying to figure out what I wanted to do this round and I’m closer to deciding to use my first boost trade on Lyth to Neser along with 3 other heat trade ins.

Think I’d rather hedge my bets for Bazley/Neser and get rid of Lyth in the process than chase someone like a Hardie’s price rises.

Was keen to grab Dooley, but you can’t get everyone you want cheapie wise and points are a bit of a priority for me after rd2.

How much Neser impacts Bazley concerns me for a guy we are paying 156K for, pretty small sample size but all his scores were crap last year when they played together.
I think that it is too hard to go off last year. They only played the last three games together when the Heat were out of it - they lost all three games and only took 10 wickets across the three matches.

Bit late, but ended on 1073, Tye
Decent recovery from not having JR AND also choosing Turner over Dorf, thinking he might bowl a bit more. Also realised I buiggered a loop and even though had lyth on the bench had to take his crappy 24 to keep Tyes score.

Trades this round
Out: Turner, Lyth and Farooqi
In: Swepson, Neser and Webster for coin.

Leaves me 50k in bank so tossing up whether to trade Agar out for the likes of JR who should be a good scorer every week and will generate some cash, or Steketee for the DGR.

Well that was a disaster of a round scoring sub 1000. Haven’t had the care to look at my team until now.

Burning a boost this week to get Jhye in and playing the cash generation / breakeven gme with Jhye / Webster and considering PS have 2 DGR later in the season with no byes til after. Need to get him before he’s out of reach.

Going Farooqi > Jhye, Green > Swepson, Tye > Neser and Roussow to Webster pending final BH teams.

Leaves team looking like

Inglis (Gilkes)
Agar, S. Khan, Neser, Webster, Stoinis (Brown*, Hales)
Short, Jhye, NCN, Swepson (Hosein*, Sams)

Really doubtful Brown plays tonight. Hoping he somehow gets the nod over Bryant. Will allow me much more flexibility.

VC probably on Neser.

Lots of peeps be using a boost

Why?
I would suggest lots of people over-loaded on ST players due to double DGR, chance to stock up on BH players or pick up missed cash cow or player on rise.

No DGR next round time to get in Sixers and Renegades before Rd 5 in Rd 4 and Rd 5 if required, is likely to be the main reason or at least that is the reason I plan to use one this week.

Its a bit of a combination of:

Role - bowling good overs in the surge and at the death, likely to take wickets and has a good chance of snagging a 3fa in one of the games.
VC option - I generally prefer a bowling option that could score batting points over a batsman that only really has one avenue to score. He fits that mould well, and can see him scoring well enough vs the other options.
PODish - will need to see the final numbers as this may not happen, but it feels like the consensus is to target more of the value options (Neser, Swepson) or mid price guys (Renshaw, Baszley). I can see Steketee being passed on due to his price, as teams go for quantity with the cheaper names.

I am a little nervous about tonight's game as history suggests he may not get a bat and it could be more suited to spin, but reckon he's worth it based on ability and role.
Great answer… appreciate it (thanks to others who quote replied too)
