Having said that, I thought you could really see the difference between 2 good players playing, and some of those early Round 1 matches!
It’s not an 80s scoring match. I think the doubles missed (highlighted by the commentary which is hard to block out) tell a tale in it.

I think I just expected more. 92 avg is just darts really.

On that form he’s not beating Aspinall. But that doesn’t mean he’s not beating Aspinall. Aspinall is a serious player and has been for some time. On the fence even though I really like Josh.

In for the long haul. Chizzy is one of my uniques, and both he and Gilding can score and finish heavily.

If Chizzy plays like the better player in the finishing department then he wins, but there’s a head element in his game that doesn’t take much to expose.

Great scorer nonetheless, and can hit huge finishing numbers, which means Gilding has to play well to get the win.

Amazing match.

Petered out on the average side as it got tighter, but there wasn’t much between the 2. Multiple darts hit the floor in unusual style.

Haven’t seen Williams v Joyce, and from all reports a cracker, but that has to be on the podium of this far.

Not on the laptop, but I think Ironhawk has Kleermaker. Never heard of Han before.
I did have Kleermaker, yes.

Need a good one from Baggish as my VC in the next match, or I expect I'll probably be near last - pretty sure Rock outscored Whitlock for captain across their two matches by a bit, so I would have lost points to everyone else there.

3 points between Rock (23) and Whitlock (20) captain

If Baggish wins you won't be top, but you won't be last.

THCLT's team has been outstanding. Bold choices that have paid off. A few roughies to round out the 2nd round, but if any of them win then he is opening the gap through the 1st phase. Jay Sea leads but he's lost 3 extra selections. It's tight at the top nonetheless.
