I wonder if they just open with Stoinis and Clarke, both absolutely dominated their trial game at the Junction, order to date hasn't really worked.
Have a feeling Rogers might ‘click’ tonight and go well. I’d also certainly be happier seeing Stoinis avoid the early Richo barrage as well, so maybe him batting 4 isn’t so bad.

Zampa’s reply on Fox last night indicated he believes Stoin is most valuable filling Maxy’s role down the order, with less experienced guys better able to spot into the opening role than as a finisher.

I am not convinced that is right, but he seemed to have given it significant thought, so I suspect they persist with it (barring specific exceptions based on conditions etc?) for a while yet.

DGR targets in round 4.
Tom Rogers: Ex-Hobart, knows Hobart ground in and out, meaning more wickets and $ will increase further especially after he has hit a ton in round 3 and stealing wickets from richo.

Philipe: hit form and $will increase if we wait for one more round.

Hosein: Already at $146odd, with a ton, should be sitting at $165odd approx, in round 5, must hit $200.

Round 5 targets:
Abbott (High BE, waiting for another round should drop $)
Richo (High BE, waiting for another round should drop $)
Kerr (taking DC’s role)
Booster trade: Vince or Kurtis.
The funny thing about avoiding players with higher BEs will just make them bigger PODs in round 4. Something to consider

Does anyone have the dimensions of Junction Oval (CitiPower Centre) ?

All I can get up is the capacity.
Don’t have dimensions, but my memory recalls it being smaller square. Remember seeing maxwell belt a big total in a shield game a couple years ago and hitting plenty of balls to the square boundaries.

I wouldn’t feel comfortable fielding Stoinis after what he served up in round 1, yeah I know he was sick and all but still only feel safe looping him at this stage. Have Dooley with a 56 in the bowl line, will loop Stoinis in bats and if he goes better than 56 can shift Sams and Short around

Was thinking if I had to bring in SGR players like Jhye, Dooley (for cash gen) etc. not decided yet. Mostly will end up using 6 trades for both rounds for DGR players like you said mate.. I’ve used one booster trade last round, now I have 2 more boosters right?
yes, 2 more

Boosted Agar - > Green

Chose Green over Connolly as a guaranteed captain 🍩 for Round 4 , 6 , 7 & 8 if needed , just in case Connolly gets a unexpected game.

Not 100% convinced CA "allow" Green to play Big Bash after the SCG Test (load management + better served having red ball preparation for India) but if he does play , saved a trade , if he doesn't play then nothing I can do about it.

Built the Bank and pretty sure I have 6 of my 7 preferred MR/SS trade targets sorted for the next 2 rounds.

Stoinis , Webster , Zampa (E)

Hardie , Inglis , Richardson , Tye (over Zampa for no apparent reason)

Turner @ Bat 7 , hopefully breaks his BE

Green @ Bowl 7 , waiting for the IPL Auction tonight to see how rich he becomes
