Just blasting some tunes tonight, reflecting on the recent passing of Maxi Jazz and reminiscing of past times living in London and was sad to find that Robert Miles left this world in 2017, which I did not know. Two legends with arguably the most iconic anthems of dance music ever.

Just been watching a bit of the United Cup tennis. No crowds. Sydney and Perth hardly anyone. And they took away the Hopman Cup from Perth for this tournament. Hopman Cup pulled in thousands even on New Year's day when held in Perth. But the tennis powers could not handle a tournament in Perth being that popular and getting names like Federer and Serena Williams. Next year Hopman Cup using same format will be held in France. Go figure...

Thanks @Connoisseur @Ironhawk and to the guys that have joined so far.
I hadn’t entered the darts thread before the World Champs, but have been a watcher of that event over the years. Just hoping to provide an entry into what is a great sport, the players look like they live a life of beer and pies (other than Price), and they probably do, but they are that talented and it’s a great sport to watch.
Love to see a few more entries because I genuinely think this will be an underrated comp over the course of the year.
And what a way to finish the inaugural season with a brilliant match and the best leg of darts ever.

Would love to hear who others on this forum follow for classic and draft info. Outside of this resource, I have found draft doctors, the keeper league pod and moreira's magic to be far and away the best

A good question. There are some great sources there.

Lystics’ podcast (hosted by @jurn sturn) is excellent, but they haven’t posted a new episode recently.

I guess AFL Fantasy is not an option for me this year ...

- Can't join previous or new leagues without a mobile phone number ...
- I have no reception where I live ... and thus don't own one ...
Oh wow that's no good, would it be possible for you to use a friend's number to confirm your account?...then they could block the number if there's any future spam.

Bit annoying .... I couldn't even use a landline number ....

- guess that is the times we live in ... and if so I'm out of this comp ...

If you buy a phone that can do it (I have a Samsung A51), and you use a carrier that can do it (Telstra, Boost and now Aldi mobile and possibly others), you can use Wi-Fi calling. Your phone works fine without reception as long as you have wifi. I live in a regional area with poor reception and my phone works well with wifi calling.

I have no need for a mobile phone ... have got a landline that works just fine ...

- I might have managed to by-pass it and log in ...

So you can't register with an email address? That's taking marketing to the next level if that's the case.

AFL ID has recently been introduced and is needed to access various AFL applications going forward (such as AFL Fantasy). Currently, the only use is for account recovery but per below it could be used soon for multi factor authentication.

Sounds like you might be able to put in a fake mobile number and still play if you really wanted to, if you do not need to verify it.
