I don't like picking permanent donuts but love a donut to play. Always a risk they don't get on the park but there have been some good ones over the years. Petracca comes to mind.
Looks like we could have some candidates this year who might just miss out on rnd 1.
Sinn and Chesser?
Any one else think they have one in mind?

I've tried to find out anything about Constable but can't find much, is he injured?...is he in their best 22, surely he would be?
Anyone know anything?

Was on the Suns list all last year and couldn’t get a look in (bar one game as sub), despite playing solid VFL football. No reason to think that would change this year. Jed Anderson comes in this year, and you’d think he sits ahead of Constable in the pecking order. Flanders to get more of a look in, Bailey Humphrey will start as a forward but will get a taste through the middle you’d think as the season goes on. Think Constable will continue to just be a depth option.

I like both Sinn and Chesser, although Chesser feels like he would make a better downgrade target at some point in your upgrade cycle than a starting pick. I don't see him as in and out of the team like Sinn. It feels like when he's ready to go he'll stay in for a while.
That they both are DPP is what I look for in speculative donut.

Think hes essentially just cover, would be getting paid peanuts handy sort of guy to have on a list but when push comes to shove they hardly actually play.

Split between defence and midfield in the magoos so covers more than one position but isnt first choice in either.

Cheers Goodies appreciate the info mate. Tis a shame cause Constable looked like he could really be a good player a few years ago.

Thanks Shaun, guess I'll strike him off my bench thoughts then.

The fact that theyve gone and recruited Anderson and Blakely tells me they dont particularly rate him, if Chook was in their immediate plans surely you wouldn't need to do that.

I said when Geelong delisted him that he was an average footballer and it raised alot of eyebrows, just hard for a one dimensional midfielder to make it in the modern game unless they are absolutely elite at the craft and he just isn't, especially a side that has Rowell,Miller and Anderson, assume there was a lack of candidates but I can't for the life of me understand why he went there.

A long way to go until round one, but how many cheapies (131k or below) are we currently running?

Might just give us a general idea of how to realistically structure a side at this point in time.

I currently have nine so one on field. Hopefully that's realistic.

I have 8 at 131K or below, all on the bench currently - none on the field.

Nine and one on field for me as well. Team looking a little mid-priced...:rolleyes:
