Goater, Wilmot and Weddle are excellent chances. Another 3-5 untalked about will pop up as well. They do every year.

Think we'll have to be mindful with those 180-200k rookies JS is likely there but only really takes one bad floor game and they are taking 3 months to make 150K.

History of having too many and it actually paying off isn't really there.

I haven't seen anything about last year, but 2021 had 15 rookies and 17 MP's make 150k or better. Misses your point I know.

Fielding 5 rookies in defence is such a bad idea is everyone forgetting the sub this year. All those rookie’s getting mentioned are a great chance off starting as a sub or getting subbed off. Picking the best four and fielding 2

Do we know which team Goater played on?

With Ziebell confirmed playing half back this year to go with McDonald & Hall (if fit), getting concerned on his job security/role with those 3 looking likely as the rebounding small defenders.

Nice breakdown. The only thing I’m a little unsure about is the 230-450k range. Six in that range, with an average of 349k, may be getting slightly MPM in my view. Not so much because you could run out of trades (having 36 helps), but because the cash gen gets harder at those higher mid price points.

Admittedly I haven’t tried to unpick who the six are, and it does depend on that. Who do you have?

The 6 I've currently got are Yeo, Bowes, Hopper, Fyfe, Draper & NMartin.
A lot depends on what rookies are in, but Draper & NMartin are the 2 likely to get the chop and go 1 up/1 down.

That’s a pretty good list. Draper probably seems the least appealing as a starting pick to me, so including him in a minor restructure makes sense.

Cameron has DPP and is a better chance of being a keeper if you can potentially add him.
