I will be more pleased when they annouce Kayo is $5 a month again rather than the $ rip it is now
It is a ripoff now but what other choice do we have...Foxtel? been there done that mega ripoff lol, my Kayo works garbage on my TV, always freezing and taking ages to load, works much better on my laptop but small screen.

In other observations from the Power’s training session on Monday:

Mixing it up
After the Power squad was split into the probables and possibles on Friday evening, the sides on Monday were a lot more mixed up.

Connor Rozee and Willem Drew led the midfield for the white side, and were up against Jason Horne-Francis and Travis Boak for the black side.

Horne-Francis started the internal trial well but was then quiet after as he played a lot more time forward than Cornes expected.

But he was almost entirely in the midfield on Monday.

Ruck battles takes another turn
With Charlie Dixon on the sidelines, he was being managed and will be fine for the Power’s upcoming trip to Perth, the ruck battle that is emerging at Alberton had another slight twist.

There was a surprise in the internal trial with Brynn Teakle getting the nod as the starting ruck for the probables ahead of Scott Lycett.

But on Monday the two were on the same side.

Lycett, who has been the Power’s number one ruck for the last couple of years, started at the centre-bounces with Teakle playing as a key-forward.

They swapped later on during match sim.

Teakle kicked a couple of nice goals to show his versatility and spent time after training working on his ruck craft with Sam Hayes.

All eyes will be on who the Power have in the ruck come Friday’s scratch match against West Coast.

Big watch on this on Friday - Lycett won the ruck battle on Fri pm, started in the centre bounces today so if he starts again on Friday & plays well then he will certainly back in the frame for the R2 spot for many teams.

I'd rather Telstra customers get all the games for free again, but that is long gone unfortunately.
Just checked OzBargain and we missed the one year free offer available only on the 30/4/22 for new and existing Kayo subscribers.
Hopefully a similar deal is run again this season and this time we don’t miss it.

Didn't North do a similar thing with Goldy playing for the Possibles?

Lycett is clearly their best ruck.

He's also 30 and I'd argue that Teakle was better around the ground in their intra-club portion that I watched. Given the success they had with Finlayson last year I wouldn't be surprised if they don't care that much about the ruck aspect and are putting a priority on ground level.

I still think Lycett will be there round one though but playing devil's advocate.

I don't think he's a good fantasy pick, they've got 3 legitimate backups that are all AFL ready and then a 4th "non-ruck" who was very successful as a #1 ruck last year, basically there's too many options and a very inconsistent ruck is a very easy scapegoat if things didn't start well.

Sadly, I think that Finlayson's personal circumstances will limit his game time this season.

If Port are genuinely looking at a flag, which they should be, it'll be Lycett leading the ruck rather than Teakle.
