Awesome stuff @wogitalia

Sav has me interested too. All I’d be looking for is if he can last for 6 rnds averaging 65 or so as a defender, and he’d be locked for R2.

Interested to hear if Hawkins returning really matters for him if he’s playing in defence? J Henry has done a new injury so presume him swinging back was the concern but that might not be an issue anymore
Hard to see how Sav was best 22 long term without an injury to one of SDK,Kolo,Henry and Stewart and hes now got that injury, he also just played better than I expected, albeit he didn't really play on a man and the Hawks forward line is horrendous, will be watching alot closer how he goes against the likes of Daniher,Gunston and Hipwood next week.

Game ticked off both Ridley and parish for me atm, going against the daicos and young picks at 500k atm and looking towards Ridley

Very low confidence year last year and was playing a lot tighter on a man, gets this looser role back and takes the kickins reckon he’s back to 105-110 and feels safer than daics and young, clear flaws in the pick but I do love watching him play and hpopefully him and parish can be top 6 in their respective lines

Definitely an option though, could be a McCartin style elevated rookie price for this season.

Dont think he takes the easy intercept marks against a side that actually has a forward line, going to be plenty of 30s and 40s when the sole intention is to stop his man, Henry only averaged 61 last year as a much more experienced player in the role, Kolo also only got to 56.

Think if people are expecting Sav to go much over 50-60 they are going to be disappointed and we have to pay 176k for his services.

LDU complete midfield domination that quarter, a few others out of their midfield today though. Goat looked excellent. Sheezel involved in four scores, two goals, impressive hands as well, extremely quick hands to release Goater out of the backline in one play. Gotta be considered.

Essendons game style looked a complete mess to me, cant say I'm confident to pick any of them.

My takeaways from the first QTR:
Comben looked alright
LDU was dominant
Ziebell didn’t do too much but had a good role
Ziebell 2 kick ins, McDonald also 2
Hopper and Taranto good
Goater looked classy and spent his time across HB and the wing
Sheezel is going to be a freak, but not a good role for SC

Is there any update how far off Hall is? JZ and Goater feasting off half back this quarter.
Ziebell pushes pretty high up when they have the ball, also coming off the back of the square at stoppages, gotten a couple of clearances there. It's pretty lucrative role if he's also feasting in the back 50 as well.

Samson Ryan , R/F $123k, could be a playing R3.
Can’t see him finding a spot with Lynch to return.

At the other end of the ground, have been impressed by Tom Brown. Again, can’t see there being a spot for him early, but has looked good and worth monitoring as a downgrade if he does get a look at some stage. Few good intercepts and rebounds out of the D50.
