Expected Cats best 22 after yesterdays game, compared with GF team:

That 4th bench spot could easily go to Rohan / Miers / Parfitt / Menegola instead of Z Guthrie. Reckon the 3 new recruits are gonna get first crack and form will determine if they can hold their spot. Ratugolea covers for J Henry and could get half a dozen games in (and perhaps hold depending on form), not that the extent of J Henry's injury is clear
Miers is best 22 comfortably work off the ball and pushing up the ground is very important to team structure, reckon Zac Guthrie will be squeezed out of the side.

Cats fearing the worst for Jack Henry, re occurence of the same injury he had last year, will likely mean more surgery.

Went to the Rich vs North game, saw last 3.5 quarters.
Dustin is playing out of the goalsquare with a few attendances at ball ups.Was a class above though.
LDU did well. Sheezal looked good but don't think he'll score highly.
Zieball kicked out from full back a few times.
Nankervis looks super fit.
Didn't notice Phillips but didn't have a great view.
Was a very windy day which didn't suit talls.
Taranto looked very good and kicked goals.
This is a very general view of the game only, waiting to see some stats.
A great day at Arden st.

Thought Phillips was pretty good, maybe went out of it a touch in the third term. Thought he was excellent in the second term. Overall did exactly what we’d want to see, thought he was clean and took the right options.
Can't take much from Phillips in a midfield without Simpkin and Cunnington, 2 of their first 3 picked mids really, hopefully go full strength next weekend.

Yep absolutely, but eye test wise there was nothing wrong with Phillips. Zurhaar took a huge amount of CBAs, as did Powell. So you’d expect both of them would see a reduction to an extent come the real stuff.

I think you can, he backed up what he did in the intraclub game playing the same position with both of those players playing. Zurhaar isn't going to get 66.67% cbas.

Intra club against half their VFL side isnt exactly something I'm taking seriously, need to see full strength against opposition to get a proper read.
