In my personal case I was 44k (poor starting team) after round 5 but managed to crawl up to 186th through aggressive trading.

My trades per round were:
Round 1: 0
Round 2: 0
Round 3: 3
Round 4: 0
Round 5: 1
Round 6: 3
Round 7: 3
Round 8: 2
Round 9: 3
Round 10: 3
Round 11: 2
Round 12: 0
Round 13: 3
Round 14: 3
Round 15: 2
Round 16: 1
Round 17: 2
Round 18: 2
Round 19: 2

I used all of my boosts by round 10. Obviously a bit a luck involved for a climb like that but wouldn’t have been able to had I not been so aggressive.

I think with 36 trades and 5 boosts there is no reason not to be aggressive. Waiting until Round 6 to make your first trade like @Eagling I don’t think is an option anymore.

Of topic, is there any way you can check week by week rankings from past years? I was ranked number 1 for about 3 weeks in 2017 from round 3. I wanna show my son because he doesn’t believe me. Thanks.

SCOTT SAYS NO GUARANTEES FOR CATS RECRUITS, NOT POSITIVE ABOUT JACK HENRY INJURY

Geelong coach Chris Scott insists there will be no guarantees for the club’s trio of off-season recruits in 2023.
Jack Bowes, Tanner Bruhn and Ollie Henry all performed well in the reigning premiers’ unofficial practice match win over Hawthorn last Thursday.

Former Sun Bowes and ex-Giant Bruhn were busy through the midfield while former Magpie Henry booted four goals in a promising display up forward.

Despite the positive start in the blue and white hoops, Scott is acutely aware of just how hard his side is to break into, warning the new triumvirate that there are no assurances over a starting senior spot.

“They continued on the form they’ve showed through the pre-season which was a really good sign for us,” Scott said of Bowes, Bruhn and Henry on SEN’s Whateley.

“All three of them were really good. I think as quickly as we can we should move away from grouping them all together and treat them as the individuals they are.

“Jack played a little less game time which was the plan, but he was super early in the game. He looks like he’s adjusted well to the way we like to play.

“Tanner played in the middle from the outset and was really good.

“Ollie kicked four goals but it was more just how dangerous he looked and how he complemented the other guys in that forward line that was promising.

This is the issue with Bowes - such a strong cats side, his JS isn't going to be great I fear.

Henry news certainly helps Rat's chances of getting a lot of games early on.

Per afl website a couple of days ago.

Elijah Hollands had to wait for his AFL debut but is now determined to stay in the Suns’ best team. Eyeing off a wing position, the Gold Coast youngster has dropped 5kg and is primed for a breakout year. $318k. mid

Fortunately Geelong play Friday for Rd 1 so we will know on Thursday when teams drop who has made it. If you are a Bruhn fan just have your back up plan ready to go.

Good thing about bruhn you can start him in the mids and by round 3 you can see whos going to be the best mid price player out of callaghan, flanders, windhager, culley, fyfe and bruhn who you will go with, easy swap. Im starting him.
