PREMIER LEAGUE NIGHT 4
MvG rallies from 2-5 down to take price out in a last leg decider against the throw. Price comfortably ended up the highest scorer of the night, and was the form player, but couldn't get over the line with the advantage he built in the final. @KLo30 moves into the 10 position, and @Connoisseur @Jay Sea and @Rowsus also nearly maxed out on the same team selection.

@Professor has opened up the gap to 5 points on the back of his most consistent start. @tso and @Rowsus filling podium spots. Still 6 in double figures, and only those at the pointy end have been a constant so far.

Silky smooth throw a paramount reason for his longevity in the game. 1996 World Champion and just recently recorded his 31st consecutive appearance at the World Championships. First time since 2003 that he has been ranked outside the top 33 at years end and if he is unable to climb up the rankings and keep his tour card, then the World Seniors Tour beckons.
Ageing like a fine wine.

Would you like me to provide similar stats from Darts Orakel for players in the UK Open, for those that recently received a tour card or qualified that have little or no tv exposure, like I did last year?

Karel Sedlacek:

Presents great value and although I have yet to have an in-depth look at the field, he is my favourite for captaincy if opting from a player starting in the first round.

Earned a two year tour card at Q-School in 2020 and by the end of the 2021 was ranked 71st in the world. Was unable to earn a tour card at Q-School in 2022 but was able to qualify for plenty of Euro Tour events and narrowly missed out on the top 64 (Ranked 68th) and an automatic tour card. These earnings reset to $0 and he was able to earn a tour card through the European Q-School for a two year stay on the PDC circuit earlier this year.

Has a very nice draw at the UK Open as all of his opponents during the first three rounds could be the Amateur qualifiers if results go his way. Qualified for the UK Open twice and at both editions has won two matches (2020= Started in first round and lost in the third round, 2021= Started in second round and lost to S Whitlock in the fourth round).

Defeated Australian Raymond Smith 3-0 at the World Championships this year and then pushed Dirk all the way to a fifth and final set in a losing effort (17:15 onwards)

Sebastian Bialecki:

For the third year running he has qualified thanks to finishing amongst the top eight in the Development Tour and once again enters in the first round. In his debut in the UK Open in 2021 he hit a nine darter in the first round and made it to the fourth round losing to Mensur Suljovic and then in 2022 lost 9-10 to William O’Connor in the quarter final.
